Hotel Amalfi

"I can’t enough recommend this hotel. One of the best hotels I have ever been to. Great communication from the staff. Always ready to help you with anything you need. They helped arrange a private transfer from naples airport to the hotel. The driver was very elegant and well dressed. The hotel itself has a great location right at the center of amalfi close to everything you need. The facility is renovated, has an elevator, terrace and a garden. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they offer free beach towels, free water and snacks the first day, they are so nice. The breakfast is the best you can ever have i think. They offer wide variety, nice presentation, very delicious 5 starts quality. The room is spacious and has everything you need and even more. We had a very pleasant stay."

"The only reason I gave the staff 3 stars was because one staff member was excellent and that was Fabio the staff member who was just ok was Elena. Fabio went above and beyond to answer our questions and get us what we needed. Elena seemed inexperienced and did not go out her way to help us. She simply answered “I think so” or “I don’t know “ I even had to ask her to look something up for us because she was just going to say she didn’t know and that was it. It also could have something to do with her no being able to communicate in English that well. I think this should be a requirement for someone working at the front desk. Also we could not even open our door to look at the view because people were smoking by the front of the hotel and the smoke was rising up into our room. If this is a no smoking hotel something needs to be done to keep the smoke away or we should have been given another room."

"10 minute walk from the station, similar to the port where you catch the ferries and also about the same distance to the old town and restaurants. So it’s a brilliant location. My only criticism was the breakfast which definitely wasn’t 4*. Very basic in all respects for a 4* - that’s my only criticism. They need to improve that to be a true 4* otherwise a good choice."

"My wife and I recently celebrated a milestone birthday in Amalfi and stayed at the Anantara Convento Di Amalfi Grand Hotel. We had many hotel options, but we are so pleased that we chose the Anantara and the city of Amalfi for our stay. The location was a perfect launching point to visit the many areas of interest. It was close enough to all the restaurants, shops and sea in Amalfi, but also far enough away to enjoy a more private experience. The walk from the hotel down into the center of Amalfi was breathtaking. The staff was wonderful and always bent over backwards to make us happy. We must give a shoutout to the pastry chef for breakfast. We really enjoyed all the special treats."

"Spotless hotel, lovely pool area and decent rooms. Staff very good. Beach are nice too. Great shuttle into town. Food in restaurant nice and reasonably priced. All in all a great place to stay."
