A truly unique place

The tiny house is situated in one of the most unique places in France: pointe courte in Sète. The facilities in the house are simple but sufficient. We appreciated that there was airco. Pointe courte is a small neighborhood from where you can walk to the town of Sète, but the neighborhood itself has a unique atmosphere which we truly enjoyed.

We enjoyed our stay in the seaside cottage in Sete. It was very cute with lots of charming decorations. The kitchen was perfect to make a meal in and we had enough room for a family of four to enjoy a quick stay in the area. We really liked being in the Pointe Court neighborhood because it was quite - felt like that is where locals live, not too touristy. A few things to consider based on your needs. If you are looking to be right in the heart of Sete than you will need to drive over from this location (or longer walk). There are a few restauarants in the Pointe Court neighborhood, but the majority of shop and dining is over the bridge.There is no wifi (as stated in listing) which was fine as one of us were on roaming, but if this is important to you this might not be the right fit.The only other thing I'd call out is that the property has Air Conditioning. It works GREAT downstairs which cooled off quickly. One bedroom upstairs has AC which made sleeping easy, but the second bedroom does not have a unit, so just a fan. We were staying when it was close to 100 degrees (upper 30s C) so that room was a tad warm but we still found it worked out fine for our needs.We were close to the beach and easy to drive over the bridge to explore the main area of Sete.Our host was always super quick with communications and we truly enjoyed the home which we felt was good value.

Un havre de paix aux portes de la ville, voilà ce qu'est la Pointe courte. Petite maison très agréable, une voisine de presque 90 ans très sympathique qui vous explique l'esprit de ce quartier hors du temps. Si vous voulez vous ressourcer et vivre une escapade exceptionnelle, séjournez à la cabane du marin Jules.

Voici une version enrichie avec une recommandation du restaurant Le Passage :Le quartier de la Pointe Courte est un endroit authentique et plein de charme. L’ambiance est calme, avec de jolies ruelles et une belle vue sur les canaux et l’étang de Thau. C’est parfait pour se promener et découvrir un visage plus traditionnel de Sète. Le logement est très agréable, propre et bien équipé. Tout est mis à disposition pour passer un excellent séjour dans les meilleures conditions. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour et recommandons cette adresse à tous ceux qui recherchent le calme, le confort et l’authenticité. Pour bien manger, nous vous conseillons également le restaurant Le Passage, où nous avons très bien mangé dans une ambiance conviviale.A très bientôt Arwa

L’emplacement du logement était très bien et la cabane charmante. Le lavabo de la salle de bain inutilisable car complètement bouché. Il aurait été honnête de nous en avertir.

Wir haben das kleine Häuschen für 4 Übernachtungen & Erkundungen in der Nähe gebucht. Prima Lage und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir waren als Familie mit 5 Personen dort, vielleicht an einigen Stellen ein wenig klein und beengt - aber ein wirklich sehr schöner Ort.

Classica casa del pescatore, ben arredata e completa di tutto. La cosa particolare è il quartiere che oltre ad essere caratteristico è anche abitato da persone socievoli e accoglienti. Laurence è stato paziente e disponibile.
