"Staff were excellent, friendly and very attentive. Whilst the area the hotel is situated in was quiet and peaceful the hotel was extremely noisy during the night (from 1.30 until 4 a.m. continuous door banging, people walking around, noisy shower etc) - no soundproof doors or walls. Avoid room 10! Staff in the restaurant were very able and friendly but the food was passable at best. Easy parking and good location off the motorway."

"The hotel is a good place to make a stopover and is dog friendly. The room was comfortable with good soundproofing. An excellent breakfast but if you're planning on dinner I would suggest taking the receptionist recommendation for a nearby restaurant."

"Clean room and bathroom. Restaurant closed on Friday night as it’s classed as the weekend, you need a car to find somewhere to eat. Bed quite hard, so for me quite uncomfortable. Noisy doors, usually don’t hear the doors in an Ibis, but heard all the doors closing along corridor, made for a disturbed stay. "

"This old revived Mansion is magnificent, with its garden complex, Peacock & wild birds, roaming the back garden yards. It is an artistic master piece. The proprietor’s are interesting, very helpful and accommodating hosts. I would highly recommend. "
