"I was tired so I was glad to see a welcoming fairly well kept place to say.it seemed to me that the property was cared about, because the people who worked there were responsible. If traveling again I would recommend this place to stay to be very down homey feeling with all the comfortable you may need(fridge, microwave, wi fi, etc."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very spacious and we found everything we needed for our stay with ease. Everything was as-described and the views from the deck were awesome! We had an issue with a downed tree (from a storm) on the access road to the house and the host quickly had the issue taken care of. Would absolutely recommend this house to anyone."

"We loved staying here and the hosts literally thought of everything- s’mores supplies, breakfast foods, stocked up on bottled water. Really wonderful! I didn’t realize how far the river is from the cabin, but it wasn’t a big deal or too long of a walk. The Woodstock area has a lot to do and we will be back!"

"Over the years, we have rented getaway places in the Shenandoahs before and this is by far the best. It is in a beautiful setting surrounded by forest and the animals that live there. We loved sitting on the porch drinking coffee and watching the hummingbirds take nectar from the feeders. The cabin was cozy, comfortable and had everything you need to make you feel at home. We loved it."

"Absolutely beautiful! We got to watch the wildlife from the couch and the property was in beautiful condition! The mosquitoes were insatiable but that's to be expected from a property in the woods, thankfully we could enjoy the calm and comfort inside. 10/10 would recommend!!"

"Our stay at this location was excellent! The "cabin" is comfortable,impeccably clean and felt like home. I really didn't want to leave. The host was gracious and prompt with any questions or concerns. I would go back in a heart beat."
