"Beautiful hotel. I suggest to open the waiting/ bar at 2 PM instead of 4 PM. We arrived early and we had to wait until 3 PM. We couldn't get a drink or even a soda. Room was not ready until 4 PM. So the refreshment at the bar would help. But, hotel is very nice and made up for the earlier discomfort."

"We were privileged to stay in this palace. When driving up to the building you get a feeling for the grandure, but on entering the reception it's jaw droppingly impressive. The staff were very helpful and happy to share their knowledge of the history of the building. The breakfast was excellent. The woodland grounds are beautiful, we spent a day exploring with a picnic (you have to be fit, it's very steep in places) The room was clean and functional but not at all luxurious. Come to this property for the amazing architecture and beauty of the forest, not for the room."
