"Our stay was pleasant. The apartment was clean and for the most part quiet. We felt safe. There is no A/C so it can be hot inside when the weather is warm. There was good communication between the landlord and us, and they were accommodating and attentive to our needs. If you seek peace and quiet, and to cook your own meals, this is a good place. "Pros: La ubicación es buena: tranquila, a veinte minutos en coche de las playas de Torreira y Furadouro, a media hora de Aveiro y a una hora de Oporto y Coimbra. Se puede pasear por los alrededores. "I paid for the whole place yet when I arrived, Maria argued with me that I had not, for an hour. Her argument was that I had less people than 10 so I didnt need all bedrooms. That was not an option on VRBO website. Finally she accepted that our cleaning fee was paid and opened up the annexe. It was a needless hour wasted and left us all feeling a little shaken. "The hotel and grounds are beautiful and furnishings were suited to the era of when it was built. The breakfast was excellent and included with our stay. There is only one option for dinner and it was pricey. There is no wi-fi in the room, only the area near the bar. The TV in the room only has Portuguese channels. It would have been nice to have music playing in the bar/lounge."

"Poolside seating in the indoor pool was very comfortable. Not sure about the one outside. Hotel is very well located close to everything and very good options for dining. That is no parking available unless you pay $25 a day at the hotel and they will offer valet parking. Overall very nice experience."
