Super cute cabin nestled in the woods but close to everything
We loved staying here. Super comfy beds, a table for ten to eat or play board games, and full immersion into nature off the back porch. We will definitely stay again.
We had a nice time and will come back.
Definitely would recommend to anyone!
Not to far from the strip.
2nd time staying here and was just as good as the first!
Six adults stayed and there was plenty of room, comfortable beds, great outdoor porch with area to BBQ. The only item a couple of our guests missed was that they could not get Monday night football on the TV
This property was clean, spacious and just minutes from all attractions. The back porch has the most beautiful views of the mountains. Breakfast and coffee every morning looking over the mountains. What more could you dream of. Our family will definitely be coming back.
Cozy place to stay. Lots of great views. Property was well-maintained and the owners were super responsive to messages. Easy entry with a couple of steps down to get to the front door. Spacious rooms. Very close to town and right off the strip. Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again.
We loved the cabin. We loved that all the bedrooms being on the main floor that is perfect to accommodate our parents that go up and down stairs. Everything was as advertised. The bathroom was a little small and the showers were easy access but are small. Other than the raccoon family living upstairs, but we notified the owners and was advised they would be taken care of out stay was great, suggestion maybe add a hot tub..
What a wonderful cozy cabin! The description is totally accurate. The coffee/tea/hot chocolate/popcorn/oatmeal bar was so very nice. Recommend the Walmart in Pigeon Forge, prices and selection were much better than Publix. The location here is great for the whole area. Bonus: young raccoons on the porch for a bit were fun to watch. The view is spectacular. Would definitely stay here again.
Cozy cabin that checked all the boxes for my husband and I's weekend. Only the I would change is the length of our stay! Really didnt wanna leave. Location is great! Can get to the main areas of Pigeon Forge easily or get to Gatlinburg in just a few minutes. When at the cabin it is peaceful. The mountain views are awesome when sitting on the deck or looking out the windows. (I loved the fireplace too!)Owners are great communicators and were prompt. We definitely would stay here again...just would stay longer!
Check-in was a breeze. The owner checked with us several times to see if we needed anything (we didn’t). Cabin is on one level which is perfect for the elderly or anyone who can’t do stairs. The cabin was very clean, comfy, and fully stocked with TP, paper towels, dish detergent, etc. Finally, the view from the cabin was magnificent!! This was our second time staying here and will definitely be back!
If you're looking for a great place to relax and enjoy a gorgeous view, this is it! Our family enjoyed the convenient layout of the property, the expansive deck, and the view of the mountains. We have two young kids so finding a place with everything on the same level was a must. To check that box and to not have to compromise on the other things we wanted in a vacation home was such a pleasant surprise.
There were 10 of us and the space worked well! The windows in the living room showed the view and let in lots of light. It was great having 3 bathrooms. The coffee/tea/popcorn/oatmeal bar was so nice. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Check in and out was a breeze!! Easy and quick to get to Dollywood and there’s a back road to get to GSMNP! So very cozy, clean, perfect!
Want to give you guys a huge “Thank you” for a wonderful home to stay in while on vacation! We truly felt at home. Everything was very clean and super ready for us! You could not want for anything. Loved the coffee and tea station, great way to start your day. Great location to everything. Easy to find and get to. And a very beautiful view! We had a great time. You can always depend on open communication with you guys, that, I was also grateful for! Again we are super grateful for the wonderful time we had and will be back!

All was good except two things. 1st. There was 4 adults staying. There was plenty of towels. But only 3 wash clothes in the whole place. We had to go but them. If you had told us that up front we could have brought them. 2nd. The very loud traffic was an all night thing. Something We know you could do nothing about.
A perfect place for family. Very well thoughtfully organized place with minute details. The cabin is located at a convenient place for fast food, pizza place, grocery, other restaurants and attractions of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but not compromising the peaceful solitude and beautiful view of mountains. Michael and Deb were so prompt in responses and very honest to honor our requests. We unexpectedly needed a service on a Sunday and in no time, they arranged one for us. I highly recommend any family for this beautiful, well taken care of cabin. If we go back, we definitely call Michael and Deb again. Thanks Michael and Deb. Words are not enough to thank you!
Perfect cabin for a couple or family getaway in the Smokies
We really loved our stay at Walker's Retreat. The cabin was nicely situated, nestled into the trees with a view of a little mountain valley across the way. It was easy to find and had enough room to park 2 cars which is rare in that area.
The cabin was so cute and nicely furnished and decorated. They had a Kurig and a traditional coffee pot and both had a full supply of different k-cups and coffee grounds/filters to try. They had teas, instant oatmeal and microwave popcorn on the station as well.
The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, even a lemon zester and garlic press, which was great because we love to take those meal kits when we go and make a lot of new dishes.
I was a little hesitant to book because I saw some reviews saying it was not the cleanest, but I am glad I did, because it was as clean as any of the many others places we have stayed in in the area. The owners were very responsive and accommodating and did mention that they had an issue with a cleaner but now have found an excellent team, and it showed.
I would not hesitate to stay at this cabin again.
We were lucky to book this cabin. This trip was a last minute trip to celebrate my birthday. The cabin was as described and pictured. I loved the open concept and the way you can view the wilderness.
The cabin came with everything. Cleaning supplies, toiletries in the bathrooms, and a stocked kitchen that allowed us to cook meals. It has a nice size grill that we didn’t get a chance to use! It gives a homey feel and my two teenagers didn’t want to leave.
The porch was definitely used where we just sat out there and enjoyed the nice weather and nature. It’s close to everything we wanted to experience.
There was an issue with raccoons getting into the attic space. They kept up a lot of noise at night with bumping and thumping coming through the ceilings. I did message the property owner who states they will get someone to look into it. Unfortunately for us, we had to deal with the noise. Hopefully this will be taken care of for the next people who rent the cabin.
Other than that, I would recommend this cabin for a family getaway. We are even willing to return and rent this same cabin next time we want to come down to Tennessee.
We stayed at Walker’s Retreat during a beautiful fall weekend. There were 5 of us my husband our 2 adult children 23 & 28 and friend age 24.
We were very comfortable with our accommodations but I’m not sure it would be comfortable with many more adults. I personally wouldn’t want to crawl up to bunk beds but younger people may not have any issues. Everything was as described. The cabin is precious and decorated with updated furniture and appliances, the coffee bar was a very thoughtful addition and we used a lot.The deck was comfortable with adequate seats and spectacular views. I read in a previous review that they saw raccoons on roof. We too heard them and saw little paw prints on the railings but it’s the mountains and nature so I did not have any issues with that at all. I guess if they were to attack that may be s different story and maybe an investigation needs to be done to make sure they are not making their home close to the cabin,The road to the house is winding but once again we are in the mountains so it is expected.just be careful when turning into the parking area and backing out,it’s that simple. My issues and I relayed these to the owners was the cabin was not very clean in regards to light fixtures, ceiling fans and area rugs.as stated in previous reviews more thorough deep cleaning needs to be done.I would stay here again. I always do a quick surface cleaning anywhere I stay to be sure it’s clean.that’s just me.5⭐️if deep cleaning can be done.
