Made a quick trip down for a few nights on fall break. The kids loved the games in the basement. I have to mention that all of the light switches were labeled with what they went to, which we really liked. I would definitely stay here again.
Convenient in a great location. The cabin we originally rented wasn’t accessible because of winter storm Heather. We were placed in this cabin because it was accessible and would sleep everyone in our party. First class folks who were super friendly and on top of things. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommended!!
The cabin was beautiful. Cabin was clean and felt like home. It was a hot week and the ac worked perfect. The downstairs was freezing though, half way down the steps you could feel the drastic temp change. We seen a few bears in the area , one that walked right by our car past the house. We loved the arcade games and pool table. Only thing that was a little intimidating was the steep road getting to the cabin.Wouldn't want to drive up that during snow ! Overall we loved the area and cabin. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us ! We will definitly return !
We had a great time and this cabin was perfect. We had troubles with the washer, I sent a message, they came and fixed it in a very timely manner. Very pleased.
The view was amazing and so peaceful. The showers had some mold in the bottom by the door we had to clean and there where lord of cobwebs and the deck needed to be cleaned on both levels
Very pleased with the overall stay. The hot tub wasn't as clean as I would like but we were so busy we didn't use it much. The cabin is very nice and the wifi was good. Saw others mention about the TV not working, once I figured out which of the 4 remotes to use it worked fine. Also the special promo they have set up for discount tickets to attractions was great! Will visit again.
We were 2 families having 4 kids. There was something for everybody to enjoy. The Pool table, arcade and Foosball were much enjoyed by the kids. The sofa converts into bed. This detail should be captured in the listing, it only says sleeping capacity is 10. The sofa bed weren't very comfortable but we only stayed for 2 nights, so not so bad.
My family had an overall ok experience here. The stove didn't won't to work and heat properly. The loft bedroom was absolutely miserable during the day due to how hot it was outside. This property was nice but could use a few a updates!

Overall good stay
Cabin was beautiful, clean, had everything we needed and Location was awesome. We did however have issues with the TVs not working and the hot tub continuously running with no way to shut off (Motor sounded like it would shut on and off over and over again) and also was unable to adjust temperature so it wasn’t very warm. We called three days (stayed 5 nights) in a row to ask for someone to come check it out since we got a cabin with a hot tub for a reason, no one ever came, never got a phone call back, received absolutely no response which was pretty disappointing.

Ned to do very deep cleaning.
Sofa bed when we open it’s chips inside and dirty.
It was very difficult to find the property. There were no house numbers in sight to find the house. We found it by the name of the property instead.

Furniture was torn badly in the game room. There was also a leak. No mirror in the bathroom.
When we reported the problems they would not even consider moving us. The contractor that came to fix the leak was very nice and understanding. We were very disappointed in the cabin and the service at Timbertop. We have used them before and were pleased. While we were there we found another rental agency and another cabin for next year.
The cabin was just as in the listing. Check in and check out we’re smooth. We had no issues while we where there. The cabin is a little dusty but I know that with those high ceilings it’s difficult to get up there and clean. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and the game room was amazing for the kids. We cooked dinner and breakfast at the cabin which is equipped with pots, pans utensils etc. For those worried about the steep road, we are from Florida and we’re able to navigate just fine. After you do it once it’s easier as you know what to expect. We had no snow, can’t speak to the road in those conditions. Overall we had a great time and made great memories!
The cabin was just as described. Very well decorated and clean. Had everything you would need for a great mountain stay. We stayed for thanksgiving week so for us Floridians it was cold the basement was very cold and at night the kids ended up with the parents and on the pullout couch on main floor. It worked and they had fun.
The drive up to the cabin was scary. One way up and one way down with one lane. So if you up for an adventure that road is it. Would not want to do it in the snow. We planned our days so we only had to leave once and tried most days to make it back before dark because of the road up to the cabin. It’s close to everything so that was not hard to do. Over all we had a great week and made lots of fun memories.
No matter ypur emergency they will not work with you
We ended up having a death in our family that was going to be attending our trip with us. We called to see if we could move the date and get any type of discount but they wouldn't work with us at all. I understand cancelation policies, but we still wanted to give them our buisness, just at a later date. I would like to be able to work with an owner that can sympathize and would be open to working with us as humans.
