50th Celebration Weekend
We booked this big, beautiful cabin for 4 nights to celebrate our parents' 50th wedding anniversary. There were 11 of us total and this cabin was so spacious and comfortable! The cabin was clean and had gorgeous views! Only downside were a few issues like the outlets not working in the bathrooms nor our tv in the bottom bedroom. However, I would book again for sure.

Graduation trip
A quick trip to celebrate my sons graduation with the family. Plenty of space and lots to do inside the cabin. Small repairs need to be taken care of but nothing to stop the fun

It was absolutely beautiful in the cabin and out on the decks. We didn't want to leave for sure. There was a cabin across the way from us that had a lot of loud music and they were loud themselves, but for the most part, it was very peaceful.

Dancing Deer
The property is nice, but it needs some renovations like doors that don’t work and light bulbs that were out, also the deck door was originally unable to shut until we called. The deck railing is loose and there is mismatched wood holding it together. The pool table had one stick and no chalk. All showers leaked to the next floor. We didn’t know it was four floors - hard for some older people to climb. For this amount of money it should be immaculate

A little run down
We had a lot of fun in this cabin! The indoor theater and pool table were great and the neighborhood was quiet overall. However, - There were doors that didn't close and doors that didn't open. - The BBQ pit was rusted out! This was a big inconvenience for us. - One of the eyes on the stove didn't work (front left). -The cabin was generally rundown. Overall, the property served us well, but we will not be back

Fantastic Family Fun!
Great location and views. The very best part is that each of the 6 bedrooms have their own bathroom. The bedrooms are fairly comparable making it “fair” among different families. We went with extended family(5 separate families) and although we didn’t do absolutely everything together during the day, we were together eating, talking, playing games, and even watching a movie in the evenings. One of the most memorable vacations ever!!

Nice getaway
House was very well laid out with plenty of space. Beds were comfortable. Excellent view from the upper level bedroom balcony but a little bit obstructed on the main floor deck due to tall trees. It is a great location to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It is definitely a rental as you can see the wear and tear throughout but we were still able to have a good time. Owner did stop by to replace the receiver so we could use the theater room which was very cool. Air Hockey table did not work but the other games were fine and we played pool a lot. They were building a house right next door so we heard construction every day but at least they didn't start until 8-ish. Overall was a great trip.

Just a few minor issues
The beds were not great. The bedroom that I personally stayed in was broken, and a couple of the other beds were as well. The bed that I stayed in was broken underneath, and would "pop" when we sat down on it. The righthand side of the bed was leaning, and when I looked under the bed to see what the problem was, there was a cinderblock holding the broken boards up. The bed on the 2nd level (where the hot tub was) also had this problem. The bedroom dresser on the bottom floor also had a broken drawer. Overall the stay was amazing and we had a great time. Other than the beds. :)

Property had mouse and scared the family of kids
Property had great views and was mostly comfortable. There was ample space for 3 families. For the amount that is charged for the property, it doesn't provide basic amenities like bathroom rolls and/or bath tissues. No coffee/tea or coffee filters or dish washing liquid. If you are just going there for the views. the property is great. The worst part of the experience was when a mouse showed up in the living room. It was 10p.m and the property manager was not contactable even after multiple calls. They didn't return the call till 9:15a.m the next morning and only to tell me they wouldn't have done anything different and sometimes they do see mouse in the cabins. We have stayed in cabins before and have never experienced this. The conversation was unapologetic and was not acceptable. She said they have never seen a mouse before. When my family was trying to drive the mouse out, there was a lot of mouse poop behind the refrigerator and the oven. I wouldn't recommend this property for two reasons. the attitude of the property owner and the cleanliness of the property.

I am sorry if you felt I was unapologetic when addressing the issue with the mouse. I do remember extending my apologies and discussing at length with you all of your concerns. The first missed call I had from you was after 11pm and as I told you when I called you the next morning, I was very sorry that I was not available when you initially called the office to make us aware you had seen a mouse. I take all calls myself and for the most part I can be reached pretty much anytime. However, I do have to make time for sleep. I do take pride in customer service and I was very sympathetic to your concerns. I simply explained that we are in a wooded setting and on occasion small critters can make their way into the property. I further explained that I would not have been able to get our pest control service out the previous night when you initially called because of the late hour and that trapping a mouse was not as easy as coming over and picking him up. Your group had been at this property the 5 days preceding the mouse sighting and had not seen any sign of the mouse prior to the night you called. The amount of mouse droppings that our pest control found on their inspection was conducive to it just making its way into the house toward the end of your stay. It is always my goal to address any and all concerns or issues with sympathy, extreme urgency and understanding. Again I am very sorry if I did not meet your expectations when it came to the level of customer service I provided to you.

Great Location and View
Stayed with with our family (a group of 12). The house layout with multiple bedrooms each having a bathroom was a great feature and selling point for us. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. There were a few minor issues that we identified at check in and the property manager was quick to have maintenance address them. Great location close to pigeon forge but far enough away to enjoy the mountains and not feel that you are in the middle of all the hustle and crowds.

Scenic Views
Wonderful property with panoramic views of the smokies. Our family of 6 had plenty of room to spread out and didn’t even use one level. We felt right at home, and especially enjoyed the porches, hot tub, air hockey table, and big dining room table. The cabin is in close proximity to the attractions of Pigeon Forge but we were so happy to escape the “kid strip” and return to the serenity of the hills. One con to be aware of is construction directly to the right of the cabin, which could be loud at times.

Great Mountain Vacation
This vacation was wonderful. From going thru the reservation process and then the intact person. Stacy did a great job with making sure that whatever needed done she was there to make sure our stay was comfortable. We will be back. The view from the balcony' s during the day and then at night viewing the lights is beautiful. Thank you Stacy for a wonderful place and for being there for us.

Location was great. Could use a larger parking space.
The cabin was nice and comfortable, but the floors, windows and furniture were dirty. I will say that the kitchen sink, cupboards, and refrigerator were clean.

I wish you would have made me aware there was a problem with the cleaning as I would have immediately sent housekeeping out to correct the issues you had. All of the carpets throughout the cabin were professionally cleaned on July 15th. We also have brand new furniture that was just put in at the beginning of Spring in various areas of the cabin as well as all new bedding in all of the bedrooms. Really enjoyed our stay at Dancing Deer. The cabin was great. Plenty of things to keep the kids entertained. The views were great. Enjoyed the fact that the cabin was away from the others so had more privacy. The kitchen had pretty much everything that was needed.

Big but cozy, rustic but beautiful
We cannot say enough great things about this cabin and the property manager was available for any questions or help at the drop of a hat! This cabin is grand but cozy at the same time. Plenty of room for the family to sit together and plenty of room for the family to spend time in their own areas. The views from the balconies are truly amazing. We prepared most of our meals in the cabin- which is fully equipped just like being at home. The kitchen and dining area easily accommodated our family of 8. Each of us had a hard time deciding which room we wanted to sleep in as all of them are cozy and comfortable. The cabin was out far enough to enjoy the quiet surroundings but close enough to shopping and other family outings we planned. We have nothing but good things to say about this place!

Beautiful view, relaxing vacation
What a gorgeous home! Everything our large family needed for a week. Plenty of space. Kids loved all the games and we all enjoyed the hot tub. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. This home is well situated and an easy drive to wherever you need to go.

Perfect for Kids Spring Break
Had a wonderful time at this property for a quick Spring Break getaway. We had 10 adults and 7 children and still had plenty of room. Management responded to emails within 15 minutes. Directions were provided ahead of time and everything was outlined from Access Codes to dining recommendations. I would highly recommend this place.

Good but could be better
Cabin was large enough for multi family use. Lots to see and do in the area, close to activities. Negative things- Kitchen floor was dirty Bathroom had bad grout and was leaking into bathroom below Carpet was dirty Hot tub had trash inside(bottle caps) Overall the house is nice, but for the cost of rental should be maintained better.

Beautiful Views and Pleasant Stay
We celebrated my parents 50th anniversary at Dancing Deer for 3 nights in June. It had a great location with easy access to Pigeon Forge and the surroundings. There were 14 of us from 70 down to 2 years old and the 6 bedroom layout was very conducive for everyone to sleep in a bed. The cabin is not very close to other cabins so noise and even seeing others while outside on the deck was not an issue. I would guess judging by the proximity of other cabins in the same complex that this could be an issue for the other cabins. The kitchen size and equipment were great for cooking meals and the close by gas grill out on the deck was plenty big for grilling out for our group. If I listed any negatives, they would be nitpicking, because overall everyone loved it!!!

Beautiful house with gorgeous mountain views
We loved our stay at Dancing Deer. It was a multi-generational family trip for 16 adults and kids. The four floors of living rooms/bedrooms provided ample space and amenities for all to enjoy. We especially loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the deck off the main living area and playing games at the large dining room table and in the game rooms. The only reason for 4 stars is that we thought it had a community pool, but it did not. We traveled to the Community Rec Center and swam there.

I love the 2 separate game room areas and the big log rockers are very comfortable for relaxing and taking in the view with morning coffee or returning from a fun day out in town. There is a communal pool in the resort about a block and a half from the cabin. There should have been directions in your Welcome Packet email. If for some reason the attachment didn't get sent to you I wish you would have called me for direction. I am so sorry you were unable to find it during your stay. Just like the pictures! Perfect!
Our group of 4 neighbor families, which included 8 adults & 7 kids (5-10 yrs old), stayed at Dancing Deer for 4 nights. We were very happy with the cabin! The view was breathtaking and the deck had enough rocking chairs for all 8 adults to enjoy it together. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. We played pool, relaxed in the hot tub (6 adults fit... probably room for a couple more), watched TV, and even grilled out! The location of Dancing Deer on the mountain is great too! Away from the other cabins enough that we felt we had privacy and unobstructed views of the scenery. We would definitely recommend this cabin to other groups like ours!

An exceptional stay!
Dancing Deer is a beautiful cabin that is also as comfortable as home. It was clean, well stocked, except for wash cloths, and room enough.for everyone to have some "alone time" if wanted. Our family consisted of parents, children, grandchildren and even small great grandchildren, all ages enjoyed their stay Stacy, from the management company was very helpful and there if we needed her. We are planning on this to be an annual event for our family and planning on going through Stacy and Skyview Rentals when we rent.

Great Family Vacation @ Dancing Deer
Our family of 12 adults and 7 Grandchildren had a delightful 3 day vacation @ Dancing Deer. The younger Grandchildren were the most excited before arriving and once there, entertained themselves within the great space and the amenities of the game room. The many sites in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for adult shopping and childrens entertainment were so close for our families to get away on their own schedules and still have lots of family times together. The kitchen was adequate to prepair great family meals and the bedrooms were welcoming and very comfortable. The mountain site had spectacular views and wowed us all! Shelly and the Martins were always available prior to our visit to clarify or answer our questions.

Beautiful view!
It was very nice and clean. The furnishings were very nice and the kitchen was well equipped. It was close the parkway and attractions. The only complaint I would make is the parking was cramped for our cars and the living and eating areas would have been nicer if they had been larger.

The Dancing Deer Is A Great Place
The cabin was great. We are never disappointed when we stay in a cabin owned by the Martins. The cabins are always very nice and clean. I can't wait to come back.
