Wonderful stay on tranquil farm in mountains

My family and I had a fantastic stay at the farmhouse. It was just what we needed. We were removed from the craziness of Pigeon Forge while still being close enough to drive to the Pirate dinner show; or go to Dollywood for the day. We were only minutes away from the entrance of the national park. My kids loved feeding the donkeys every day, and the grown ups loved the peace and quiet up on the mountain. 5 stars, would totally stay here again.

The most perfect vacation home!

We had a such a great time - the house was wonderful and had everything we needed. Our kids loved the animals and we were so thankful for the rubber boots for our whole family to borrow! It was such a peaceful location yet close enough to all the fun of pigeon forge, gatlinburg and smoky mountain national park. We couldn’t have asked for a better time!

Grad Trip

I chose this as my grad trip location with my dad and best friend. I had so much fun and loved the animals!!! I would love to go again whenever I get the chance! 11/10 could not praise it enough

Wonderful place to stay

When walking into the Farmhouse it is really clean, fresh, and very cute. Was not afraid to let our 8 month old crawl around on the floor. This is the second time we have stayed here and will definitely be renting again. Easy to book, owners are easy to communicate with. It’s a nice quiet place to stay away from the noise of Gatlinburg . Highly recommend.

Farmhouse near Great Smokey Mountains

Wonderful experience! The house was immaculately clean, with plenty of room, and well furnished. Outside we enjoyed the horse and donkey, the creek, the tire swing, and the fire pit. Pamela was very responsive to questions we had as we planned our trip.

Our stay at the Farm House was amazing it was so clean Quiet and no internet was great for me . My Granddaughter is 18 and loved the Donkeys and the Horses. It was perfect we set at the fireplace and just had an amazing time I will give it a 10 loved it.

Quiet get away

It was the perfect get away for us with our hectic lives. No cell service which enables us to rest. There is a landline for emergency calls. The donkeys and miniature horses were so sweet. We had all the amenities we needed.

Even better than expected!

The Farmhouse was really a great place to get away from the frantic pace of life in 2019. Managers Joe and Vikki were very gracious when we arrived. We didn’t need their additional assistance because everything related to the Farmhouse went well. Highly recommend to those looking for a real home away from home. We hope to come back soon.

Amazing Farmhouse

The Farmhouse was perfect! Beautiful home in a great location. The drive was simple and house easy to find. The donkeys, Donkee and Poncho, enjoy being fed apples and carrots. They would come to the back of the farmhouse. On the days they didn’t meet us at the back, we just walked the short distance down the road to the barn. We loved the Farmhouse and will check for availability on our next visit to Pigeon Forge.

Short get away to refresh

Quite beautuful place. Very welcoming loved animal barn next door with place providing rain mud boots to use to go t9 barn. However the beds were lumpy and could feel bed springs. 4 beds present. We tried each one . All were awefuo. Beds from hell...did nor sleep well at all. Even padded bed with pillows hoping it would help slept better. Which it did not. Sugg. Also property did nit state about cleaning fee until we l9oked a5 house rules. Cleaning fees were not mented at website when booking. Feltlike this was misleading.

Beautiful farmhouse and property

This place was more than amazing! The property was very relaxing with streams running through it, rescued donkeys and mini horses to visit every day. The farmhouse was well supplied with anything you could possibly need. And very clean. Very warm and cozy home. Super cutely decorated house. There was absolutely no internet but we knew that. The owner was very helpful at keeping us up to date. We highly recommend this house! We will be returning.! We thank the owners for opening their farmhouse for us to enjoy. We hated to leave.

Loved it! Kids missed Wi-Fi

It was so nice and quiet. The beds were very comfortable and everything was so clean. It was nice to just relax and decompress. There is no internet or cell phone service which I was okay with but the teenagers could’ve died! 😜 It was okay though. They enjoyed it and we were all able to relax and they did like visiting the donkeys. I know some people complain about the narrow roads but I didn’t have any issues. I’m hoping to visit again soon. So much better than a hotel.

Girls trip

We had a quick little girls trip to Gatlinburg. Everything in the house was great . We enjoyed seeing donkey and poncho. They got us for some carrots. LOL. Only issue is.. you need to give the whip-poor-will an alarm clock and tell him not to go off till after 8:00 am. He was up and singing @ 5:30 am. No sleeping in for me. LOL

ABSOLUTE HEAVEN!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. This farmhouse was STUNNING, like something you would see in a movie. I don't know how the owners keep it so clean, but this home is SPOTLESS and immaculate. Pam, the owner, was a pleasure to work with and very accomodating. I stayed here with my fiance, my 3 grown boys, my oldest boy's fiance, and our kitty, Luna. The home had ALL the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location of this beautiful home is perfect as there is an entrance to the Smoky Mountains (Cades Cove) right up the street! During our drive through the Smokies, we saw LOTS of bears and baby cubs! What a treat! We also frequented the local General Store, coffee shop, and Hillbilly's Restaurant. Smoky Mountain Pizza is also excellent! I would also recommend a visit to the Titanic Museum, which is in Pigeon Forge and the second largest of its kind in the USA! Right next to the museum is the Apple Barn Cider Mill which is also a treat to visit and grab something to eat! The views from this home are spectacular and the ponies that visited us everyday were such a treat! All in all, our visit to the Farm House was AMAZING! Pam was an incredible hostess. And we would love to come back here in the future. Do not hesitate...book this home NOW. You will love it and never want to leave!!!
