Great creek side place comfy beds awesome hot tub peaceful porch sitting nice fire pit. Wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Hostess very attentive and was easy to communicate with.
We loved the cabin. It was neat and clean. The management team was very responsive. They even had a Christmas tree decorated when we got there! We will definitely stay there again.
Loved the location, clean looks like the property has had some updates, beds comfortable ceiling fans everywhere needed, covered parking, screened in porch would definitely recommend this cabin annd would stay here again.
My husband and I enjoyed our short three night stay. The house was close to everything and having a creek and hot tub were great. There were a few things we thought needed to be cleaned so we received sent a message to the owner and she refunded 75 to us. Other than that I would stay here again.
We enjoyed everything! The location was perfect allowing us to visit Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and even Cades Cove. We felt secluded enough yet we were still very close to everything.
The peaceful cabin is even peaceful when it rains for days during your stay. We loved the rushing stream and being close to everything yet quiet and peaceful.
We had a wonderful time for our sisters trip. The cabin was well stocked and the location was perfect. The company’s communication was prompt and pleasant. The beds were very comfortable.
Good location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Grandson loved the creek out back. Both bedrooms had king size beds which is sometimes hard to find in multiple bedrooms. We also appreciated the extra twin bed in the secondary bedroom.
Was one of the best family Christmas vacations we have ever had. The cabin was great with the gas fireplace, Weber grill, hot tub and outdoor fire ring just steps from the running creek. One of the neighbors sold us some wood and we had fires three nights. TEasy check in
A great place to stay with a beautiful creek in the back yard
My wife and I had a great time at the Gone Fishin' cabin. We received our check in details via test a few hours early. The cabin was clean and everything was as described. We enjoyed listening to the creek in the back yard at night. It was also nice that the hot tub was in an enclosed porch during the winter. We highly recommend and would stay here again.
The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The location was convenient for activities in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains. We had our privacy, a roomy cabin with a hot tub, along with a fire pit and creek. Management communicated very well with us and even checked in through text to make sure we had what we needed, we would definitely book with them again!
Things i love about this rental
Big yard
Good running creek
Clean
Location
The only thing that they may want to do different is to use deep pockert fitted sheets ours would not stay on the bed
The location was great loved the privacy and being right on the water. But they need to replace the back sliding door and the side storm door it takes a very strong person to open the back slider and the side storm door slams if you forget to hold it. Beside that this is a nice place to stay.
Spontaneous vacation to steal my father away from home to keep him busy. 2 years ago on Monday 3/25 we lost my mom.
When arriving to the Gone Fishing Home we definitely were set up. This house was spotless, spacious and very tranquil. The creek was gorgeous and so relaxing to listen to the stream. Can’t wait to go back to this gem.
The cabin was great. And we had a good time. Suggestions;
Kitchen/cooking was pretty barebones. Needs a few dishes and decent skillet and a spatula or two.
The master bed needs some work. Sheet didn’t fit the mattress
It was a good csnin those are just a couple suggestions for future renters.
Overall, we all had a great trip and a great time. The property and home were perfect for my family of 3 and our dog. We ran into several issues with the very sensitive toilets, sheets that would not stay on the beds, and the cleanliness(mostly of the bathrooms). I also would like to throw out there for any pet owners that pet-friendly is only referring to 15lb non shedding dogs only. I somehow missed that part in the contract and was not made aware elsewhere and they backcharged us for our dog when we left because they ran into minimal shedding. I will say, the property is beautiful and we really enjoyed the creek and being close to everything yet feeling like we were secluded in the beauty of Tennessee.
