A First Guest’s Experience



One of our very first guests described their stay like this:



*“What a treat! I spent last night in a brand new cabin nestled on a mountainside. Trees are all around so my sunset was through the spring green forested slope to the west (viewed from the hot tub) and my sunrise poured light through the kitchen windows onto my Keurig coffee, sunlight splashing across the butcher block bar.



The time in between sunset and sunrise was filled with delight. Carefully chosen lighting fixtures gave me choices of darkness or golden shimmers on the logs reaching high above my head. Character beams stretch across this open style cabin where everything is remembered. The thoughtfulness of a carved bear mantle suspended above the gas fireplace, stones contrasting with honey-colored wood, trimmed all around with a rich bear tone, make every direction a pleasure for the eye to behold.



A slight rise sets off the jacuzzi tub with head pillows at both ends. A barn door slides across the marble shower and bathroom area. Fixtures and accents are all in gold.

• Mountain location on a gravel road with a steep incline

• 4WD or snow chains may be required during winter weather (Dec–Apr)

• Pet-friendly with prior approval + fee (must be crated if unattended)

• No smoking, parties, or events

• Exterior security camera facing driveway only

• Construction is booming in our area - construction noise may occasionally be heard (common in the Smokies)

• Online check-in form required prior to arrival including ID and card for incidentals

The cabin is approximately:

• 1 hour from Knoxville (TYS) Airport

• 1.5 hours from Asheville (AVL) Airport



The drive includes scenic mountain roads with curves and a gravel incline leading to the property — part of the authentic Smoky Mountain experience.
