In the beautiful mountains of Tennessee, find your perfect retreat at this amazing 5-bedroom house in Sevierville. Nestled amidst the breathtaking natural beauty of the region, this property offers a private oasis where you can indulge in a wealth of amenities and activities. Skipping Stone is directly on the Little Pigeon River, Gatlinburg's preeminent trout stream, with hundreds of feet of river frontage.

Aside from its 'right smack there on the river' location, this luxurious lodge is the absolute, bar none, best of accommodations with over 4,200 square feet, 10' ceilings, massive bedrooms (4 identical master ensuites with king-size beds) and spacious decks overlooking the river.
As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a cozy and inviting atmosphere, complete with a roaring fireplace that sets the tone for a truly relaxing stay. The fully stocked kitchen, equipped with a stove, refrigerator, grill, and all the necessary appliances, allows you to whip up delectable meals, while the dining table provides the perfect setting for sharing laughter and creating lasting memories with your loved ones.

Luxuries and amenities of Skipping Stone include HDTV, extensive DVD collection, XBox 360 and Wii on request, and satellite TV. Each bedroom features its own HDTV and spacious, well-appointed bath with Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The game room is fully equipped to occupy guests of any age.
This cabin will spoil you either indoors or out.

Aside from the house, the river is the real highlight here. Simply put, the setting is stunning with unobstructed upstream and downstream views. Looking back from the river, only one house is visible for as far as the eye can see. Directly in front of the two floors of decks is a fabulous swimming hole and rapids. You will need a license fish and we can furnish all necessary information. The gorgeous view, sounds of the rushing river and gentle breezes make dinner on the deck an unforgettable experience. Soak or play in the private swim spa, or gather around the fire pit for a night of stargazing and s'mores.

The most perfect place to stay in the mountains

If you love the mountains and especially the mountain rivers and creeks, then this is the perfect place for you. I have stayed here 2 years in a row over fall break with my entire family and my daughter's dog It is so private and secluded we did not have to worry about the dog disturbing anyone.

Lovin the river!!

Enjoyed our stay at the house. It 2as spacious for our group and it was great having that many bathrooms. The fold out couch was nasty and we got a blow up mattress instead. Overall it was a great stay and the description was right in point about the property.

Relaxing Vacation Home

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at this home. It's beautifully decorated and the location is fabulous! You get the sound of the rapids in stereo and you're only about 15 minutes from all of the shopping if that's what you want to do. The washing machine needs some attention, but other than that, we had a wonderful time on our family vacation! Hope we can come back again soon.

Great location!!

We had a wonderful stay! Had kids ranging from 8 to 3. Loved the 3rd floor play area! Only complaint for it was that it was very hot up there. They couldn't sleep there the first night due to that. The river was a fun place for kids to play and fish as well as relaxing to listen to with a nice cup of coffee in the mornings. We would definitely stay again!

Lovin the river!!

We enjoyed our time at the house. The king suites were really spacious and the bathroom amount was great for our group. The fold out couch on the first floor was nasty when we folded it out. There was Cheetos left in the bed, I'm guessing from the last renters. The fire pit outside was really nice and the porch was very roomy. The rooms on the third floor was a little close but for a kid it would probably be great..

Beautiful property and riverfront views.

We really enjoyed this property. Was very peaceful and relaxing. The home was a little worn as you would expect being a rental but very clean and excellent floor plan for a large group. The 4 bedrooms are all extremely large master suites. We had just 2 adults and 3 small kids so one of the reasons for renting this large of property was for the third floor kids rooms. They were disappointed that the main reason for coming here instead of a smaller riverfront cabin was for the skee ball and air hockey and video games. They were upset that the video game and air hockey are not here and skee ball is broken and not Useable. The tunnels were fun for them and they slept in the beds inside of those. They do have misc toys and games for the kids which were nice to have at a rental. Overall the location is great and we had a lot of fun building a fire by the river to enjoy the evenings. We would definitely rent this house again and bring more people along as we didn’t use the second floor or bedrooms there at all.

Better than pictures or description!! Perfect for multiple families with kids:-)

We had a really nice stay. 2 families with three kids. The river runs right along the entire back of the property and the kids loved exploring around even in the snow. The outdoor pavilion has a huge swimspa that we basically used as a Jacuzzi. In fact, we never used the additional Jacuzzi on the lower level because the wood burning fireplace (the owners even arranged for wood to be delivered!) near the Swimspa in the pavilion was just too awesome. Inside the house, the fireplace set the mood while everything we needed was provided in the kitchen. There are four identical master suites with bathrooms and jetted tubs so there was no akward "who gets the nice bedroom" upon arrival. The kids loved the third floor game room and maze. There is a huge long section of tunnels on the third floor with TV rooms and video games that could not be cooler for kids and tweens. The location was really nice. In an area with other million dollar homes and very easy to get to from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge - maybe a 15 minute drive from either. We have stayed at probably 10 cabins in the area and this was by far the best for a larger group. We will definitely come again. The owners of the cabin really went out of their way to make sure everything was ready when we got there and perfect for our stay. We will be back!!!

Perfect for quality family time

This property is wonderful for bringing the family together while also offering options for privacy. Our family enjoyed being on the river and taking in the peaceful surroundings. The location is very private but close to many activities so even with a diverse group of interests there was something for everyone. The cabin is beautiful, very clean, and welcoming. We can’t speak highly enough of our stay.

Beyond incredible

We have stayed in many cabins in the past 10 years. Skipping Stone surpassed all prior homes we stayed in. The privacy, the location, the on river space, the parking, the room, the swimspa, the porch space, the outdoor fireplace, and I could go on and on. We have absolutely zero complaints. We had a small concerned when we arrived, but after hours was available immediately. It was hard to leave this home after our vacation. The 3rd floor was a child's dream. Several family members played pool. It was nice to have both types of coffee makers. The kitchen was full of any items we needed to prepare meals. Many had made comments on the driveway, but we did not have any issues at all. We hope to be back on one of our next vacations.

Great Family stay

We loved our stay. Could be the place we go every year for our family trip. The “road” to the driveway was a little sketchy and the turn to the driveway is a little hairy. But over all the place is amazing and we all enjoyed every part of it, from the swim spa to the fireplace to the upstairs play area to the decorated Christmas Tree.

Perfect little get-away

The cabin was as describe. It is big, clean, close to locate amenities, and the perfect place for our family's needs. I do believe some of the bath rooms need updated fixtures, but it was usable. The outdoor fireplace was the gathering place, and was beautiful right next to the river! I will definitively be adding this to my list of favorites!

Great getaway

The property was secluded with lots to do. Sitting on the porches with the river was so relaxing. The swim spa with the fireplace and seating area was our favorite spot.

Family Vacation

We had our kids and grandkids together for a great week! Spent most days playing and swimming in the river right in front of the cabin and then enjoying wonderful meals sitting around the huge picnic table on the covered porch. Everyone had a blast with all the games and spent a lot of time just relaxing in the swim spa or sitting on the porch listening to the sound of the river. A great time was had by all!
