Guest access
Guests will experience the ease of self-check-in via our keypad entry system.
● There is a full size washer and dryer on site.
● Pack and play, stair gate, and high chair is provided in the home.
● A small starter kit of the following items will be provided, however you might need to pick up more of some items, depending on your needs and length of stay.
● Toilet paper, Dish Soap, hand soap, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, dryer sheets, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, linens, and towels.
● Check-in Begins at 4:00 pm. Check-out is 10:00am.

Other things to note
Honeysuckle Pool, Fishing Pond, & Recreation Area is located just 6.6 miles away, and it's amenities are included in your stay. Honeysuckle features an outdoor pool which is open Seasonally, a delicious deli menu, a covered pavilion with picnic tables, and a catch & release fishing pond (fishing poles and bait available to purchase). Opening for the season this year on 04/26/24.
● Peace in the Valley is professionally cleaned and disinfected.
● Smoke free and Pet free cabin
● There is an electric fence wrapped to the main deck posts. This keeps unwanted animals and creatures away from our relaxing outdoor haven.
● The driveway to the cabin is steep. If you are not comfortable with going up and down the driveway, there is parking in front of the cabin on street level. Some twisty or steep roads leading up to the cabin, but all roads are paved.
● ***REFUNDS will not be given due to weather conditions. In winter months, you may have to drive in the snow or ice. You may need tire chains, 4WD or AWD in sub-par conditions. Please plan accordingly and watch the weather updates.
● We highly suggest travel insurance as we strictly adhere to our cancellation policy.
● Dish and Roku are included with all televisions. Bring your own logins for streaming apps.
● We have a wifi mesh system that helps wifi run smoothly throughout the entire cabin. However, this cabin is still in the mountains, so at times, cell service, Internet, and Dish/streaming might be spotty.
● Since we are in the mountains, you might see bugs, mice, or critters, including bears. We do maintain the property with regular pest control, but due to the surroundings, or doors being left open, or food left outside the house, this can attract critters.
● There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat. Storms can also make roads difficult to drive, so if a storm is in the forecast during your stay, we recommend coming prepared with water and non-perishable food, etc.
● We recommend you save the address, door code, and Wi-Fi details offline for easy access in case you lose service. We also suggest you download the area's Maps data offline as well.
● For the safety and security of our guests and cabin, there are security cameras facing the front porch and driveway.
● We ask that you be considerate and treat our family home with respect. There are no parties allowed and no more than 13 people can stay at the cabin. Guests are responsible for any damage done to the property and/or excessive clean up.
