Welcome to skier's paradise at Alpine Ridge Chalet! This sprawling chalet is surrounded by wilderness, with mountain views from the wrap-around deck and hot tub. Perfectly located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, you can check every attraction off your list. Ober Mountain Ski Area is also just a quick 20-minute drive, offering you mountain fun for every season! Comfy king beds under soaring ceilings await you back at this chalet home.

The space
The large common area has plenty of room around the fireplace for everyone to gather for movie night! Then head outside for a game of cornhole while the campfire crackles under the stars. Perfect for 4-6 guests.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:
✧ GPS is NOT entirely accurate, please follow the directions we provide to your specific cabin (Alpine Ridge Chalet #3)
✧ We are in the mountains so please expect mountain roads. They are slightly steep and a portion is gravel but you do NOT need 4wd to reach the cabin (it has been done in a mini-van many times!)
✧The driveway to the cabin is steep but 4x4 is NOT needed during normal conditions, again, it has been done in a mini van many times! However, during ice/snow conditions 4x4 may be necessary
✧Wildlife, including bears, are very active in this area! Please only use the bear proof trash containers and never leave food outside or in cars. Please be aware bears are able to get into unlocked cars!
✧Please no smoking inside the cabin, a fee will be assessed for breaking this rule.
✧Pet Friendly - Ask us about our pet fees and limits (PET FEES ARE CHARGED SEPARATELY ONCE BOOKING IS CONFIRMED)

We loved our stay in this cute cabin up in the Smokey Mountains. It was right in between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, so there was lots to do. Clean, good communication, easy check in and out. Highly recommend!

Beautiful getaway

My wife and another couple stayed during the last holiday weekend before school resumed in January. Gatlinburg was bustling and this was the perfect home base to cozy up next to the fire after fun outings. Would definitely stay again!

Very Nice Visit

The cabin was very nice. And the view was simply beautiful! The host was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. The cabin was close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg so doing activities in both was easy. It was perfect for our holiday getaway!

Cabin was just as described in the listing/pictures. Secluded location perfect for quiet, relaxing getaway. Close to hiking trails in the Smoky Mountains. Highly recommend and would return again for another mountain vacation!

Great little cabin for two couples or kids and parents.

Great views, very clean, hosts work hard to make your stay a success. Nice bedroom on the main floor and complete set up with bathroom upstairs. Allows you to spend d time together as well as have your separate space. It is hard to find. Make sure to follow the directions from the hosts, not your GPS.

Great Cabin in good location

The cabin was located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Park Visitor Centers were very close by. Checking in process was very easy and clear. The cabin had basic necessities until you could get to a store (coffee filters, pod for laundry, soap for dishes). We had a small maintenance issue and it was taken care of immediately. I also forgot something at the cabin and they were able to send it back to me. I highly recommend this cabin.

Great cabin!

We rented this for a girls trip. 4 women over 40. It was the perfect size with two king, comfortable beds to share, with optional futons to sleep on. Very spacious and clean. I wish the tv would have been easier to use. We wanted to watch college football and struggled to use the tv. I also wish there was more seating on the porch. Only two rockers on one side of the cabin made it difficult to enjoy the porches. The trip up the mountain to the cabin was similar to most in the area. The gravel road that you have to take to get to the house is very difficult to find, especially at night for the first time. You will miss it if you don’t know what you are looking for. Overall we had a great time and would recommend!

Tucked away but close town

Overall a good stay. Would recommend it for tbose who want be close to Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge but not feel like you are right in the middle of things. The driveway does have a tight turn at the base which we made in a mini van with a two point turn. If you're in a long vehicle you may need to do a multi point turn. The electronic lock took a few tries to get open. I think it was our timing. But after the first few tries we had no problems. We saw three bears from the cabin while we were there. They came from the back of the house to the front via the porch. It was pretty neat to get to see them so close.

Nice place to stay, scary to get there

Great cabin, clean, all the amenities, gas logs would have been nice. The road to the cabin is hard to navigate. Have to back up and steer again at a couple of places. The road changes from payment to gravel/rutted mud. Large standing of water at beginning of dirt road. Tried to get back to cabin in daylight to navigate the paths.

Private getaway

We had a nice quiet getaway with our furry friends. Cabin is exactly as described. It snowed before we arrived so having 4 wheel drive was a plus on first day. Very quiet and peaceful during the week. No actual bear sightings but plenty of tracks around the cabin in the snow. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

An Amazing Stay

This property is absolutely amazing! We loved it! The trip up the mountain to get to the property is less than desirable, but once you arrive, you're met with a beautiful home with everything you need for a fabulous vacation. The kitchen was very well stocked, the king size beds were heavenly (I think I slept better here than I do in my own home!) and we loved having a fireplace where we could build our own fire for Hallmark movies, of course! The location is perfectly situated between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, and we were able to visit both cities in just a matter of minutes. We loved having a Christmas tree and the "ski/alpine" decor was just beautiful. We loved our visit!

Clean, nice, easy to communicate with owners but do NOT leave any trash out for any length of time! There are bears and we did have a visitor. Thank God my son came outside bc if not, i wouldn't have made it inside!

Don’t try and find this after dark.

Cabin was nice but the road was treacherous. If you have access to a four wheel drive, use it. Very steep and difficult to find. Very sharp turns and you will have to back up and pull forward several times. Not for the faint of heart. Paved road to gravel road full of pot holes. Road needs a lot of work.

Long Weekend Getaway

The cabin was great. We saw bear all around the area at other cabins each day, which was neat. The cabin was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.
