The Space
Piney Oak Lodge is an ideal location for your stay, offering a serene atmosphere that allows you to take in the stunning scenery while still being within a convenient 20-30 minute drive to major attractions. We strive to create a memorable experience for our guests and hope that you and your family will cherish your time here as much as we have.

Upon confirmation of your reservation, a Rental Agreement will be sent to you detailing the house rules. If you're not a fan of our rules, then you will have 48 hours to cancel your reservation.

*You are in the mountains and might see bears and bugs.
*Fun fact spiders can spin a web in 25 minutes.
*To get the amazing views, you have to go up the mountain. The road is windy and steep in some places. It is paved the entire way.
*Bears are dangerous! This is the Smoky Mountains and there are bears around!
*We do not send maintenance to the property during your stay unless requested. Only after you depart.
*There are two Alexa devices located in the cabin for you to use. The drop-in feature has been disabled.

The cabin was wonderful! Amazing view, clean, very well stocked with tons of kitchen items, and a lot of entertainment for the kids/teens! A bit of a drive from Pigeon Forge, but not too bad. Well worth the drive! We would definitely stay again!

Ou stay was very comfortable. Specially considering the cold weather, this cabin was warm and cozy. It is also conveniently located with easy access to the National park and other tourist attractions. Eric and Krista are very responsive and great hosts. I would definitely recommend this stay!

Family enjoyed our stay (comfortable beds, good amenities (60 game arcade, foosball, pool). Cabin has nice little extra touches (labels used for kitchen cabinets/drawers, switches for lights/fans, and TV/fan controls have slot on wall). Check-in very easy, host communicated well before and during stay. Location is close to Cade's Cove and easy cut-over (Metcalf Bottoms) to GSMNP. We enjoy eating in Townsend, many good eateries. Swimming hole is close (Townsend Wye) on beautiful river.

We loved our week-long stay at this cabin. Everything was perfect, and the views are gorgeous! Quiet neighborhood, but close to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood and GSMNP. Owners were easy to communicate with. The cabin was clean and welcoming. Having linens, towels, toothbrushes, shampoo, body wash, etc. and all of the kitchen essentials stocked at the cabin was great. We hope to come back again!

Our stay at Piney Oak Lodge was absolutely perfect! This was our first time visiting the area and we were thoroughly impressed by the house, the ease of checking in/out, and the location. It's just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains, but be able to drive to the many area attractions for the day. The house was well furnished and impeccably clean. We made great use of the hot tub, pool table, and "vintage" game table! All around, an awesome vacation, awesome accommodations, and THAT VIEW!!

Our family really had fun in this cabin which has an unobstructed view of the mountains. I really appreciate the extra attention to detail provided by our hosts. Extra nightlights, towels, soap and clear instructions. Overall, the cabin was clean and everything worked. While it rained, the kids enjoyed playing the '80s arcade games or playing foosball and pool. The internet was fast, no problem streaming movies or uploading photos. Be aware that cabins here are pretty close together, and if your neighbors are outside, you'll hear their conversation. Our hosts communicated before and during our stay to be sure everything was going well. We were very happy with our visit and Eric and Krista made us feel welcome.

The cabin was wonderful, we spent 8 great and relaxing nights. Our host had everything taken care of that we needed. The cabin was extremely clean and great furnishings. Drive to cabin was an easy drive, with paved roads all the way. We can’t thank our host enough for sharing their wonderful cabin. We would highly recommend this cabin and our host to everyone.
