Finding the place wasnt too difficult which i was suprised by bc this property is at the end of one of those narrow meandering roads. We spent the mornings in either pigeon Forge or Gatlinberg and our afternoons at the cabin.
The bed was incredibly comfortable and every night we stayed there, my fiance and i slept like babies! The hot tub is a nice touch and was very clean and well maintained. The pool table is where we spent most evenings and it was perfect as a get away from the rigors of modern life. We will be staying again in the future!
The only suggestion would be to supply k cups for the keirig...we just drove into town each morning instead of using the mini coffee pot. Worth every penny!
We loved the cabin, but were thankful to have a vehicle that could handle the trek up the mountain to get to it. There was a pool ball missing and a broken ironing board that they brought to us right away, so very friendly and prompt service. The ONLY thing we had an issue with was the heat, it would not get that warm in the cabin. We are from the midwest, so we can tolerate cold, we just had no idea it would get as cold as it did the one night we were there and either the heat could not keep up or it was not working properly. Otherwise, it was absolutely breathtaking, plus we were about 15 minutes from the touristy stuff in Pigeon Forge and about 20ish away from Gatlinburg, so it was an amazing stay, and we will definitely be back.
Property was as advertised. We found the cabin via Waze app. It did have us go to the wrong end of the the road but that was simple to figure out. Upon arrival the cabin was in good shape. No complaints for the condition. It was a bit dusty in some spots as though it had been sitting for a bit. Nothing terrible. The hot tub was nice in the evening to relax to unwind before bed.
The only issue I could foresee is that the drive way can be a bit tricky. The turn off of the road into the recast was nearly impossible with my truck since the turn was so sharp. If you go past the drive and turn around it’s significantly easier. I would definitely recommend 4wd if it’s wet or a lot of leaves on the ground.
What a suprise this little cabin was to find figuratively and literary. When arriving to this house, it took us a minute to find. GPS took us one way, which waa wrong, so thankfully our hosts had emailed us directions prior. This house was perfect for my husband and i for our anniversary trip. The house provided us with all that we needed from bedding, to bath and kitchen items. Most importantly it was clean and well taken care of. What was very convient is the locatoon of the house, besides it taking us a minute to get down to the main road, because the house is up on the side of a mountain, its location is perfect. We were able to spend time in both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We would definitely come back again and stay here. We appreciated how easy the process was for booking and also our hosts provided a few suggestions of restaurants that we should try. We look forward to coming back again soon!
Great Cabin. Really everything we wanted in getting away from the buzz of the tourist areas in the evenings and mornings. Great views of the Pigeon Forge strip and areas east. Toddler loved it. Ample room to run around and WiFi for the kids tablet. We did bring a baby gate for the stairs since the room is on 2nd level. Numerous sitting places, amenities, supplies. As long as you read ahead of time what they provide you should be fine. Apple Maps did correctly lead us to the property so that was simple from a directions standpoint (we downloaded the area onto our devices before the trip in case cell service was poor) The drive, as well as the driveway can be a bit daunting in spots if you are not used to driving in the mountains, but comfort grew as the trip went on. We had a 4wd truck with sport mode, but also saw 2wd compact suvs and even a motorcycle next door.
Favorite part was sitting on upstairs balcony in the morning with a cup of coffee or relaxing in the balcony hot tub!!
My college son and I were in town for a football kicking camp at Top of the World Sports Complex. We do not like the traffic of fowntown Gatlinburg, so this was perfect!
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The driveway up to the cabin was a little challenging in my larger truck, but that is the only slightly negative thing I can say about our stay. It was private, clean, and well equipped.
It was a lovely week staying in the Star Gazer cabin. The location is amazing if you are looking for a true cabin in the mountains. Nestled between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, it is the perfect spot to be away from the hustle and bustle but not too far away to enjoy the amenities of the city. We loved spending our mornings and evenings in the cabin having quality time and exploring the area during the day! We would definitely stay again!
On arrival no ac and.next morning bear opened my car door and location of cabin was crazy trying to get to, they gave me another cabin to use in better location everything worked except hot tub and again next morning another bear tried to enter my car so first two days was almost complete wash after all that the rest of stay was great except no one fixed hot tub. If we ever go back there we will stay at an hotel.
Need new pots and pans. The ones that are there are in pretty bad shape. Driveway is very steep. Cabin was in great shape and very clean. Beautiful sunset. I'd stay here again if i didn’t have kids with me. They really can't go outside on the grounds. On the porches is as far as id let them go. Cabin is perfect as far as location right in the middle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
The cabin is in a beautiful location, close enough to downtown yet far enough to feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle. There was a surprise snow fall the night before our arrival and it froze over on the drive way. I was very worried about being able to get up and down the driveway for my wedding the next day. The office staff was kind and helped me make sure I got to my wedding. Thank you!

Pretty at first glance.
The bed was uncomfortable and old . The porch swing is zipped tide together. There is a bolt coming thru the roof in the shower. The balcony on the top floor was broke and fixed with a bolt that isn't secure. Can't pull in or out of drive way with out having to back up to be able to make the turns . Roads getting to the cabin are narrow and steep. the trees are obstructing any view it once had. Needs more outside lighting so you don't fall coming up the steps to get into the cabin. But with a little TLC this cabin has a lot of potential.
