Big Bear Point is a two bedroom/two-bathroom cabin and a sofa bed. It sleeps a total of 5 (King, King and sofa bed). This is not a party cabin. This cabin is intended for respectful families, 1 or 2 couples, individuals, and small gatherings for the purpose of relaxing and spending time with family and friends. This cabin offers everything one could need, making it feel like a home away from home. With its tasteful rustic décor, hand hewn pine walls, decks, floors, full list of amenities and the feeling of privacy, guests can be assured that this is the cabin for them. Tucked into a private section of woods, it offers the privacy that many long for in a mountain retreat. Location is key in the Smokies and being close to the attractions is a must. Big Bear Point is located 5 quick miles from downtown Pigeon Forge.

Feel like staying in for the day? Enjoy the amenities the cabin has to offer such as a game of Air Hockey, board games, the arcade machine which includes 60 classic games (free to play), take in the picturesque views and look deep into the mountain landscape. Enjoy the rocking chairs, swing or hot tub on the covered back porch in rain or shine. You can watch TV and stream your favorite show/movie on your Netflix account or simply build a fire to nestle up to on cold winter days. This cabin has a wood fireplace. Wood is not provided; however, wood bundles are typically available for purchase at local convenience or grocery stores.

Both bathrooms in this cabin have been renovated in February 2024. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for you to whip up your favorite meal, while a charcoal BBQ grill awaits outside for those who enjoy grilling.

***There is 2-3 vehicle parking on a flat paved driveway. The driveway up to the cabin is an incline but short and straight. All roads leading to cabin are paved. We have an accessible standalone 110 outlet for electric car charging with your own charger at our parking area. This is not an actual EV charger but a 110 plug if your car accepts that for slow charge.

*** Strictly NO PETS- a $500.00 cleaning fee will be applied, and you will be asked to leave the property without refund with a pet.

***4WD highly recommended during winter months should ice/snow weather conditions occur. Guest is responsible to ensure their vehicle is prepared for winter driving in mountain terrain. We have no control over the weather, and we do not provide refunds for any issues beyond our control to include weather-related issues (including access to or from the cabin). Travel insurance to protect your travel investment is suggested.

Great weekend getaway!

The cabin was great and we would stay here again! It’s just far enough away from the commercial strip to enjoy nature and the view, but close enough to get anywhere you want to go within 10 minutes!

What a great place to stay

What a beautiful place to stay. The view was great, the cabin was clean and we had everything we needed while there. Close to town but far enough away to enjoy natures beauty.

Beautiful view, beautiful cabin

Cabin was great with beautiful views. It was close enough to everything, but also far enough away to be peaceful. We enjoyed spending the evenings just relaxing on the porch and enjoying the view.

Quiet weekend in the mountains.

Wonderful property. The view was amazing and the location was quiet. The owner was super nice and made sure we had all the information. We will be booking this cabin next time we come to pigeon forge!

We really enjoyed staying at the cabin. The owner was prompt, very polite and extremely courteous. Everything was very clean and inviting. The location was just a hop skip and jump from many activities. Overall the cabin was a great home away from.

A little piece of heaven

We had a WONDERFUL vacation and this property is perfect. The location is STUNNING and the host is so thorough and kind, it was a pleasure communicating and working with them. Perfect getaway!

So happy i stumbled across this little joy. The only negative is we didn't stay long enough. The location is the prefect distance to make you feel that you are away from everyone in your own little world, but so close to all the enjoyable activities in the area that it isn't a long daily haul. The kids loved the place and it communication with the owner was easy. Thanks for sharing your place, we will be back for sure.

Best of the Smokies

As soon as we pulled up to the cabin we knew we would love it. Nothing disappointed us at all. Views were incredible, property inside and out was awesome. Comfortable furniture including beds, couches, chairs and the deck and hot tub were wonderful. Everything you need kitchen wise is there and great qualify. Highly Recommend.

Amazing view

Pulling up to the property we were so excited about it being so remote. Then walking into the home and looking out the amazing windows and wrap around porch sealed the deal. Place was beautiful inside and out. Beds were comfy, hot tub amazing, and we got to see momma and three cubs come out of the woods into our driveway. So peaceful and had lots of relaxing time.

Great cabin with an awesome view and still close to town!! The pictures don’t lie on line!! We would definitely rent this cabin again in the future!! Amazing views and great stay for the whole family

Big Bear Point was amazing and our entire family had a great time staying there for spring break. My 13 yo boys enjoyed the air hockey and the whole family enjoyed taking in the view of the mountains, hanging out on the swing and chilling in the hot tub after along day out. Cabin was clean and well maintained and only ~15 min away from Pigeon Forge. Property is located on a somewhat steep hill, but not bad once you know what to expect. Lisa was an amazing host and easy to communicate with. We plan on coming back and staying again at Big Bear Point in the future.

Fabulous fall break stay

My family and I just stayed at this adorable cabin. It was only a short drive to the parkway in the middle of Pigeon Forge and far enough away to not have to deal with the traffic. The cabin was extremely clean, which I REALLY appreciate and had a beautiful view. It was just the right size for 3 adults and my teenage daughter. Again, I am really picky when it comes to cleanliness and even the outside porch/hottub was very clean. If I HAD to list a negative, it would be that you could hear the people upstairs very easily while you were downstairs but really it wasn't terrible. I would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful!

The cabin is beautiful! Just as it looked online. It was quiet and comfy. Communication with host was good. We visited Clingmans dome, fork motor drive and did some hiking. I was hoping to see a bear like many of the other reviews said but we did not:-( we would definitely stay here again! Only 2 cons to the property, the driveway is STEEP! (Which it does say in the listing) and the sheets were not the right size for the thick mattress. We had to remake the bed everyday bc the fitted sheet came off every night . But other than those two minor things, this was an amazing place to stay!

New Years Getaway

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Big Bear! The views are breathtaking! The house is warm and cozy makes you feel right at home. The house is decorated nicely and the beds and furniture are all comfortable. We had nightly airhockey contest. Really enjoyed the game room. We made alot of memories there. The porch is nice and if it wasn't so cold we would've used it more. We did have alot of ladybugs on the second floor. I tried to tell my daughter they are goodluck but she wasn't buying it. She's 5 and don't like any bugs. The driveway is very steep but I learned alot of the cabins in the area have very steep driveways. Just be cautious. Overall we would recommend this cabin and would be willing to stay again!
