"Picturesque little valley campsite, right by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge tourist options). Clean and cozy tent cabins, wonderful staff that were very friendly and welcoming. We had a great time, it was the perfect home base to explore the Smokies and get outdoors and unplug."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The grounds are so peaceful and beautiful. The only problem we had was no access to ice (nor an ice bucket in our room). We had to go to front desk to ask for it and take it back to room. Other than that small inconvenience, it was a lovely stay."

"The cabins are so nice, and well equipped. The on-site restaurant was awesome! It’s within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We loved it and will definitely be back."

Days Inn by Wyndham Apple Valley Pigeon Forge/Sevierville
8/10 Good
"My favorite part of my stay was the night clerk. I am embarrassed to say I cannot recall her name, but she was delightful and very accommodating. The property shows some definite signs of wear and tear, but at the price I paid, I pretty much expected that.
Pros:
Great location. It was very convenient to everything and there is a trolley stop at the McDonald's next door.
The ADA bathroom was very spacious and worked perfectly for my disabled son.
There was ample parking convenient to the building and the pool.
Continental breakfast was provided every day, which I very much appreciated. My only note would be that it would be nice to have some boiled eggs or something less carb loaded for diabetic folks.
The hotel was very clean in my experience. I saw zero evidence of any kind of infestation as other reviewers have claimed. We had plenty of fresh linens.
Cons:
There is no ramp to get a wheelchair (or luggage trolley for that matter) from the lot up onto the sidewalk. The sidewalk is low, so we were able to manage, but it was frustrating and disappointing.
In the bathroom, everything was nice and new and fresh, EXCEPT the sink which looks to have been installed at least 40 years ago. For me that was a real turn off.
The smell when we walked in was terrible. Thankfully it cleared up after we turned on the AC unit and ran some water down the drains, but I would recommend doing those things prior to guest arrival because that was not a great first impression."
"The bedding was clean but the carpeting felt a little damp. This could be because the AC was set to 68° and high when we came in late. There was a glade plug-in to mask any musty smells. The areas where the carpet met the doorframes were coming up. You have to hold the knob down on the toilet for a good 10 seconds or more just to get it to flush completely. We did see a palmetto bug by the toilet but it was dying. This is an older hotel, and I know that the new owners are very slowly doing upgrades. Breakfast is free, but it's like school cafeteria food other than the waffles you can make for yourself. Coffee is powdered from a machine. We've stayed here several times bc it's close to my family who lives in Sevierville and the shoppes. This is a middle-of-the-road establishment, but offers mostly clean comfort and affordability for a good night's rest."

"We had a great stay! The cabin was very clean, and the host’s communication was excellent from start to finish. The heater in the pool wasn’t working when we arrived, but the host responded immediately and had someone there within an hour to fix it. We really appreciated how quickly the issue was resolved. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’d definitely stay here again!"
Seduction Awaits – Bold, Romantic Escape for Adventurous Couples
10/10 Excellent
"This was the perfect place for an adventurous getaway. The place was clean, comfortable and VERY well furnished. The hot tub on the porch was a great way to unwind and relax after a long day of hiking the beautiful trails of the Smokey Mountain or after a session fun in the playroom upstairs. It was a great escape and an amazing opportunity to connect with each other in new and memorable ways. We plan to visit again."
"Clean property and room. Good shower. Loved the pool with the slide. Great breakfast every morning. Nice fire pits out back, but back outside area showing some wear. Pool area is great. Good workout area as well."
