Excelent location. Beautiful building and nicely appointed rooms. The best thing though is the staff. They are all very kind and helpful.

Easy walk to the Santa Justa train station (10 mins) and about 20 mins walk in to the sights. Excellent breakfast and helpful staff. I had a room at the back which was quiet apart from the noise of the lifts. Good shower and comfy bed but I would have liked a kettle in the room.

Convenient hotel located within walking distance of the Santa Justa train station. It is also within walking distance of the major attractions and lots of restaurants, though this hotel is at the edge of those areas. The rooms had thin walls so you could hear people talking in the hallways, water running in other rooms, etc. The room layout was also rather odd. Other than that, the amenities were nice and it was a perfectly pleasant place to spend a night.

The hotel was dirty and we told reception there was blood on one of the hotel pillows and they didn’t seem to care. I would not recommend staying here as it doesn’t feel like it’s a 4 star hotel.

We loved everything about this hotel and would definitely stay there again. The beds are comfortable and lots of luxurious features including shower, towel warmer, highest quality towels and linens. We requested a quiet room and the person who checked us in took great care to find us just that. It was about a twenty-minute walk to the historic center and convenient to train and airport. Wish we could have stayed there longer!

Expect a bit more from a 4 star hotel - on the plus side, the room was big and spacious and conveniently close to the train station. But it didn't have any tea/coffee, the bathroom facilities weren't modern enough and there were not too many food options nearby

The room was very comfortable, clean and unique in layout and configuration. It had a king, sofa bed and Murphy bed so could be adjusted based on needs. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was modern and clean. Staff were friendly and the check in process was very quick.

we stayed here for two nights. It is quite convenient to walk to main attractions. Parking is safe. Breakfast is delicious too. Highly recommended.

Maybe the best hotel I've stayed in during the last five years. My wife and I were both impressed. We were especially impressed by the front desk staff, especially Jaime and another male colleague of his who's name I have regrettably forgotten.

Service was disappointing
The hotel’s facilities were very nice but it was extremely disappointing that I was not able to use most of them due to maintenance. The cost per night it’s high and since it was supposed to include all facilities it felt like a rip-off. I would have appreciated a little warning and transparency in order to make a better decision about my stay. I purposely chose Catalonia Hotel due to its facilities and the purpose of my trip. Staff at the front desk didn’t see to care that much or offer something else as compensation. Rest of the staff were very kind and attentive.

Nice hotel, close to train station and old city
Really nice hotel. 10 minute walk from the train station. 10 minute walk from Las Setas. Staff was very friendly.

Warmer spa pool
The main reason I wanted to stay was for the spa pool but the water was not hot enough. I have stayed at this hotel many times and this was never a problem. It was reported to maintenance but maintenance said they could do nothing to make the water warmer. It’s no good with water not hot enough. It was acknowledged it was not hot enough but nothing could be done but that is strange. I will not return unless the water is warmer. I like this hotel very much but there are other spa choices.
