This apartment comes fully equipped with everything you'll need for an enjoyable stay. This unit is a two bedroom, 1.5 bath located on the first floor of Driftwood Suites. With minimal steps to entry, this unit is great for those with mobility considerations. You'll find unbeatable views of surrounding mountains from every window as well as from the spacious back porch. This property is ideally located right in the heart of Seward within walking distance of the harbor and the historic downtown district.

Each bedroom has a queen bed and the living room has queen-size pullout sleeper sofa for additional guests. Each sleeping area is thoughtfully fitted with black-out coverings to help guests get a good night sleep in the land of the Midnight Sun. The blinds are also top down, bottom up so that you can maintain privacy from the street but still enjoy the mountain views.

The kitchen features a large space for cooking and a grill on the deck is available for outdoor cooking as well. The kitchen is fully stocked with most everything you'll need to prepare meals and beverages. With several bar stools at the counter and a coffee table that extends to waist height, there's no proper dining area for (6).

Ideally located right in the heart of Seward within walking distance of the harbor and the historic downtown district, Driftwood Suites houses three vacation rental apartments and the office for a real estate brokerage, Seward Properties. Please keep in mind that the suite shares a wall with another unit. If you're a light sleeper, we suggest bringing a sound machine.

Only two blocks from a free city shuttle stop and less than a block away from Exit Glacier Guides, which offers inexpensive transport to the Exit Glacier area of Kenai Fjords National Park, WhiteCap is conveniently located. Perched along the rocky coast of Resurrection Bay, Seward is a small, seaside community and a great destination for those seeking adventure, Alaskan style!

As a free resource, my husband Clay, a local boat captain, and I are here to answer questions or help you book the perfect excursion to explore Seward and the surrounding Kenai Fjords National Park. We offer discounts on many tours to our guests.

We had a great time here! Easy walking distance to the waterfront park, downtown, and the docks where the tour boats take off. The 4-hour wildlife and glacier viewing boat ride (Major Marine Tours was excellent.

Walking distance to the bars/shops/harbor! Perfect location! Place was clean and tidy and great for 5 adults! Hosts were very responsive for anything we needed! Used our discount on the Major Marine tours for a wildlife cruise in Resurrection Bay which was very enjoyable as well!

Great accommodations in central Seward!

Great property - highly recommend. The location is centrally placed between fishing docks and downtown, walkable in both directions. The host was wonderful, giving plenty of details about access, amenities, etc. Everything you need in the apartment for cooking, washer/dryer, and even bear spray. Will stay again on our next visit!

Better than staying at a hotel

Great location and plenty of room for six people. Perfect for a family vacation. We were able to fix a nice breakfast for all of us and still get out by 7am to make our boat excursion. Clean and in excellent condition. Highly recommend it.

Seward family trip

Had lunch and busted the Exit glacier while waiting to check in. The place was small but clean, opening windows kept rooms cool. It had lots of hot water and laundry. Close to town- easy to park am lit to get Kenai Fjord tour.

Excellent Accommodations!

The apartment was wonderful! It was home away from home for us as we had space to lounge out and cook. Great location to be able to walk to town or hikes. Short driving distance to Safeway and to Exit Glacier. Great view, clean and well stocked! Great communication from the hosts for check-in and check-out and for activities to book prior to arrival. We loved our time in Seward and Kenai Fjords National Park!

Great place right in between the port/train station and downtown easy to walk to both. There is also a free shuttle, one block away, which is super easy as well. The unit itself is completely updated and had everything that we needed. The host was great and communicated great as well.

Home Away from Home

From the moment we walked in we were awestruck by the unit and the view! It was in a convenient location to everything we wanted to do. All the comforts of home from coffee to a clean and comfy bed. The blinds when down kept out the “night” light. We looked forward to going back at the end of each day. The reservation staff (Kylee) was excellent in responsiveness. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Great Home away from home, in Seward!

We came to Seward, from Anchorage for one night. Originally booking a local motel. Ended up staying here instead, and it was the right move! This unit is exactly is pictured and described, if not better. We were given instructions via e-mail on the check in process, which was very easy. Both rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The unit was great, and much better then what the motels had to offer, for a very similar price. If I come back to Seward, this will be where I stay.

Great location! 15 minute walk from small boat harbor and downtown Seward. Units are clean and well stocked. Kylee was easy to work with and fixed an issue promptly… If we could suggest anything to improve this unit (#2) it would be to add a small table/shelve in the half bath for women/men to put cosmetics on. Also add some command strips on the bathroom doors for hanging towels. Everything else was great!
