Rustic Roots Seaside Blush Cabin (ADA)

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! CURRENTLY UNDERGOING INTERIOR RENOVATIONS! Our rustic seaside blush cabin is an accessible, spacious, waterfront cabin with amazing views of Resurrection Bay. The cabin is ADA-accessible, beachfront, and perfect for 2 guests. It includes a roll-in shower, accessible ramp, queen-size bed, sitting area, small kitchenette, outdoor patio and private beach access.

This craftsman cabin has the feel of a modern houseboat at high tide. The property is set on the beachfront of Lowell Point, with views of Resurrection Bay and the Chugach Mountain range. Your space is rustic, yet clean, and caters to the new generation of adventure travelers. We are remote without being remote. Come indulge in privacy while having all of the homey amenities you might need.

Guests have the entire oceanfront cabin to themselves. There is a private outdoor patio and private beach access right in front. There is also a shared firepit on property for guest use, as well as garden beds (feel free to use in your evening cooking!).
Other things to note

We took over management of Rustic Roots in late 2023. These rustic cabins will be going under cosmetic renovations in early 2024, to give them a more modern feel.

Wonderful Seaside Cabin

We loved staying at Rustic Roots! We enjoyed watching the sea otters, seals and walking on the beach. The cabin is right on the water giving us incredible views of Resurrection Bay. The cabin was very clean and had all the necessities. We will definitely stay again if we make it back to Seward.

Just as advertised and more! Amazing views out windows of cute little otters, birds including eagles. Just the place we needed for basic necessities while we stayed 3 nights in Seward.

Breathtaking views at Ocean Front

I stayed for 2 nights in the Blush cabin, and there is no better feeling than falling asleep listening to the waves wash onshore only 10 ft away - except maybe waking up to stunning oceanfront views in the morning! Lowell Point is only a short 10 mins drive into Seward, but feels much more secluded and private. Great area to stay in, lots of hiking options, much less touristy than Seward. The cabin has a small kitchenette so isn’t really suited for cooking, but Miller‘s Landing Cafe in easy walking distance has you well covered on food & drinks. The cabin’s bathroom deserves a modernization/renovation, but I understand this is already planned for 2024. I enjoyed my stay and would love to return in the future.
