Private, peaceful farmhouse with mountain and horse views!

Newer 3br/3ba private farmhouse, called “The Chicken Coop,” located on our 80-acre family horse farm. Our two-story home features an open floor plan, gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings, generously sized bedrooms, three full baths, master jacuzzi, loft with extra seating and an extra twin bed, and outdoor deck overlooking Bluff Mtn and the horses peacefully grazing. 20 minutes from Sevierville, Knoxville, Townsend. Out of the hustle bustle, yet, close enough to experience a UT game, the Smoky Mountains or the tourist attractions in Pigeon Forge!

Great house! Beautiful! So peaceful and quiet. Only well water on site. Lots on animals not just horses to enjoy. Closer to activities and restaurant's than you think. Highly recommend if you want to get away from the crowds and enjoy some of the beauty Tennessee offers. Would want to stay there again.

Enjoyed a wonderful week at the chicken coop! Location is very private, yet close enough for quick trips to Knoxville, Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg! Enough space for everyone individually with a big table to come together at! Easy communication with host and prompt attention to any questions. Highly Recommend!

Beautiful spot away from the crowds.

Spacious comfortable place! We stayed with six family members and a dog. It was set up with everything we could need. Host was very communicative with being intrusive. It was a wonderful stay. We wished we had booked longer than three nights. It was a pleasant drive to Smoky Mountains and to Knoxville the other way.

Fantastic!

Owners are great! Excellent communication. The house was BETTER than described. The surrounding property was BETTER than described. Close to the convention center. We could not have hoped for a better all-around experience. Better-than-good chance we will stay here again!!

Peaceful and beautiful!

Our trip was absolutely fabulous! The house was beautiful with spectacular views of the mountains and horses in the field outside the huge floor to ceiling windows. There were Christmas decorations that helped us celebrate the season. The hosts were so friendly and incredibly responsive when I had questions. We would definitely stay again!

Family Vacation

Property was just as advertised. Beautiful views in a rural setting but close enough to enjoy all the activities in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Birthday Party Trip

The property was incredible. It was out of the way and very peaceful, and it was everything that we were looking for. We will be going back. Check-in was easy, and the place was pet-friendly. I have a barker, so seclusion was a must for us. The place is exactly as advertised; for well water, we did not notice it.

Chicken Coop

We were excited about staying somewhere new. We weren’t disappointed. The house was large, clean and decorated so cute. We really enjoyed the large porch and fenced in yard. The dogs loved their freedom and also the horses that visited every evening. Would definitely stay again.

Cozy Stay

This home is set in a lovely setting overlooking the mountains and a horse field. The home itself is very clean and has adequate space, not too far from the park or Gatlinburg tourist attractions. We appreciated a separate play space for the kids with games to play. I would definitely recommend to family and friends visiting the area.

Amazing home away.

My family and I had an amazing time at this house. The views were amazing. The house was a little out of the way but very worth it. Absolutely beautiful home with all the perks you could ask for. Will definitely rent again and highly recommend.

Christmas in the Smokies

We loved our stay on this peaceful farm! Having the horses right outside our window was just perfect! The space was great for our grown children and their families. And the homeowner was great to work with! We will certainly be coming back to stay again!

Peace on the farm!

The house was greatly laid out with a well stocked kitchen. The house was very clean! We loved watching the horses each nigjt in the pasture. It was a very easy drive to Neyland Stadium to see the Volunteers play. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were spacious..

Beautiful, peaceful property

Highly recommend this vacation getaway. There isn’t anything negative to say. The property owners even call to see if you need anything. The kitchen is fabulous too. We had family members over and it was the perfect gathering. The inviting porch overlooks beautiful scenery. The perfect place. Would definitely like to return!

Horse Heaven!

We had a dream experience at this property and loved every second of our stay. The house was gorgeous, the outdoor space was large, well maintained, and juat beautiful. The owners went ABOVE AND BEYOND to accommodate our family, make us feel welcome, and ensure we had a wonderful stay. I could not be more greatful for the time spent with family in this perfect location...DO NOT DELAY...book this home!

Great House

We chose this house for the recliners and proximity to downtown for surgery recovery. The house is secluded and serene with easy access to town. Heather was very responsive to any messages and met us at the door to show us around at check-in. Like others have mentioned, the water does smell like sulfur, but is clean. We prepared with bottled water so it was a non-issue.

ENJOYABLE

It was a way from the hustle and bustles of the city. Yet close enough for our famliy to have Fun. I enjoyed the 6am cup of coffee and fresh cool Air in the morning, and in the Evenings I would just set and do nothing but watch the Horse's and enjoy the soundless Mountain. Me and my husband a d grandson enjoyed the walk down the driveway to see more Animals,small creek hust quite time of the country. He is 12 and enjoyed the wild blackberries...

Smokey Mountain Bike Week

This was a great little farm house. The owner was very accommodating and let us use the garage to store our bikes. The water water was a little wonky, but they did everything they could to make it better, it’s well water so there’s not much that can be done. All in all it was a great place to stay. We would definitely go back.

Perfect Week

The property was perfectly laid out for our family. My husband and I took my paralyzed son and his son as well as my 86 year-old father-in-law. We enjoyed the porch so much! My FIL spent hours watching wildlife and reading. My youngest son and his two children joined us for a few nights as well. Loved the country setting, but thankful that stores were conveniently located. Will definitely plan to return.

Relaxing with a beautiful view.

My family of five along with my parents stayed here. We absolutely loved it! The view was amazing and the home was decorated so adorable (the chicken coop ❤️). It was a great place to sit and relax after driving 13 hours or going into town. The home was quite easy to find and the path leading up to the house wasn't bad. Heather was so sweet and quick to respond to any questions we had through the whole process of renting and staying in the homd. She was also very helpful with a couple needs/requests we ended up having. My youngest two loved playing in the creek and seeing the horses, goats, and pig. We would definitely stay again. On a side note. What people need to remembered as stated in many of the reviews and the description is this IS a country home. Therefore if you can't handle what may or maynot come with country living, is for you to decide.

Overall stay was fantastic. It's farm property so if you have never been on a farm or like that type of lifestyle don't rent it. I showered in the well water and I'm fine. Bring bottled water if you don't like the taste if you're not used to it. I walked around the area, drove around the area. There's not a lot to complain about. Can it use some updating? Meh, I guess it could use some paint here or there but it wasn't like it was dirty everywhere. Do you see cobwebs? Yes, way up top. They are not bothering anyone. It's on a well, so of course you're going to get some yellow water here and there, once again that's not a big deal. Enjoy the beautiful views of the stars, the mountain areas, The horses, goats, pigs, chickens, roosters, and everything else that goes with a farm rental. So suck it up buttercups or get a hotel so you can feel pampered. We are fairly close to Gatlinburg, Dollywood, valley forge, 30 minutes from Knoxville. Enjoy.
