Kambra is a pretty stone house with a pavilion and a garden, located in the village of Pliskovica on the Karst plateau in Slovenia, not far from the Adriatic and undiscovered.

It sits within a series of pleasant hills accented by small villages and vineyards where you can taste some of the best wines.

Slovenia is the most Western part of the central Europe, a space between two different worlds, an extension between Europe and its periphery, the Western Balkan. This is a welcoming, exclusive and unique place to be explored, 365 days a year.

We converted a 400 year old stone house into a unique living space with all technological and spatial commodities for contemporary living.

Enjoy life outdoors in a private enclosed garden with an outdoor and indoor kitchen and a terrace shaded by vine.

Here the Mediterranean climate meets the continental and the alpine, providing a perfect setting for enjoying outdoor activities throughout the year.

The refurbishment of the old barn carefully retained all valuable existing features, such as the roof structure, the stone and the window frames.

Between the old and new a local vernacular is formed, a protected courtyard, the living room for its inhabitants. Hard and soft landscaping offer both sunbathing spots and a covered terrace for wining, dining and hiding in the shade.

Opposite the old, stands a new-built pavilion, a structure, made out of exposed concrete, inside completely white. We provide parking space for two cars, electric car charging station and two bicycles.
