"Mountain Top Getaway is an amazing slice of Heaven. The owners left no detail unturned with its decore, landscaping and play court. And o. Top of that the views are stunning. Another wonderful part is its location close to the town of Blue Ridge while high up at the top of a mountain rode. I’m confident future guests will be equally impressed."

"This was the perfect spot for a quiet getaway! John was an excellent host and everything was just as advertised. When we had an unforeseen hiccup to the trip, John was so accommodating and went above and beyond. The hot tub was perfect for the evenings and we enjoyed being able to stay in and cook dinner at the cabin one night. This place had everything we needed for a great trip. Would definitely stay here again."

"The host was very prompt in their replies. When we had an incident with the storm, they were quick to look into it. The house was gorgeous and well supplied and had a unique layout. There were lots of beds and decor. The lawn was recently mowed to show that it is well kept. We loved the stream in the back of the property. Our dogs really loved that stream! We liked hearing the cows next door and the nature around us. There were some flora and fauna that are not found where we are from. Overall it was a great relaxing vacation place. It is located very close to Mercer Orchard, Downtown Blue Ridge, and Nextdoor to the local sports complex."

"Creekside cabin is perfect description! Super clean, cozy, comfortable, and convenient to downtown Blue Ridge. Beautifully decorated inside and out! Creek is perfect for fishing, tubing, and wading in shallows. Back porch is absolutely perfect, spent majority of our time here. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to unplug and recharge."

"We absolutely loved our time at this property! Our favorite parts were all of the seating options (covered deck, inside, and screened in porch) that were all five feet away from the creek. Being so near the water was wonderful! Other high points included plenty of seating zones inside (more than just one couch), a kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils, overall cleanliness, and the dock for direct water access. The host response was slower than typical for VRBO, as it connected to the rental company and not the person listed as the host. We had questions about deck lighting and it took almost 48 hours to get a response. I called and texted the VRBO messaging and the number provided on Monday. We received more timely responses by Wednesday. Two notes for those with sensitive allergies: the outdoor couch was covered in animal dander (whether from a wild animal or domesticated). I’m very specific to only book “no pet” places. We were unable to use this seating because we all had immediate and strong allergic reactions. However, we were able to use plenty of other seating options! The second issue was with a strong odor in the queen bedroom. Not sure what it was, but my asthmatic and sensitive skin daughter struggled a bit. For many, these won’t matter but for some, like our family, it’s good to note ahead of time. Overall, we truly had a fantastic and wonderfully relaxing time!!! We hope to book again!!!!"
