Hotel Crosby

10/10 Excellent

"My husband and I love to stay here. Hotel Crosby has been an annual staple of ours for about 10 years. The staff are always professional, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. We typically choose the King Standard as costs have continued to climb but have been pleasantly impressed with the upgrade to the King Suite and balcony view of the morning street. The hot tub is enjoyed by myself most in the winter months but is conveniently year round for those who enjoy sweating in the summer months. The attached restaurant, The Matchstick, and kitchen staff are simply incredible. It is obvious that they do not serve anything that they are not completely behind 100%. Hotel Crosby is conveniently located downtown, nestled between shops, close to markets and breweries, and of course the river. With dedicated covered ramp parking and a beautiful outdoor space for lounging or dining, it's easy to see why they are always busy!! Staying during the week can be a little calmer, but we have never had issues with noise during weekends, even with wedding event parties. We will continue to choose and recommend Hotel Crosby to our friends, as it is a very favorite stay for us!"

"Staff was super helpful no matter what time of day. Our room key kept glitching out on the second night and the gentleman that helped us was attentive both times we had to get the keys reprogrammed. Breakfast was incredible, they had standard quick options as well as different hot items each morning. From waffles, pancakes, eggs, biscuits and gravy to fresh fruit, muffins, bagels, and cereal. Staff was constantly seen cleaning, checking in with guests, and always looked to have a smile on their faces. It was a very welcoming environment and we will definitely be back the next time we are visiting North Branch!"

"We were in town visiting family, and stayed here for a few nights. I went in with low expectations considering the affordable nightly price, but was thrilled with everything! Staff was very friendly. The lobby and our room were immaculately clean (and I am very picky with hotels, as we travel a lot). Breakfast was excellent, and they checked with us multiple times if anything needed to be refilled. The pool is great, but the hot tub probably needs to be refinished at some point. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and would definitely stay again!"

8/10 Good

"Needed a place to stay for an event and this was one of the closest and least expensive options. Nice place overall and can't say enough wonderful things about the staff. I think we may have been in the newer part of the Inn, as it seemed a lot more modern and not as ornate or intriguing as the original portion we first walked through after checking in. I thought the price was on the very high side, most likely because it was just a block or two off of the Main St. Understandable, but I'm not sure I would opt for it (or any of the other places directly in downtown Stillwater) in the future. I would pay 1/3 of the price and stay at one of the other options off of Highway 36 and drive over to the downtown Stillwater area. Parking next door in the ramp was free and convenient."
