"Warmly welcomed by the hosts Keith and Donna into their beautiful BnB. Open concept, bright and relaxing main common room. Windows look out onto two waterfront views, which is still pretty in the winter. A corner fridge for guests to use with snacks and coffee. No need to use the kitchen, just leave cups on the corner counter and they will take care of it. The rooms are clean and cozy. I had one of the smaller rooms but it didn't feel cramped at all. The wifi was great as I did some work on the writers style desk. Although I had no private bathroom the shared one was clean. Breakfast and coffee was divine. I did not need to eat until supper. The hosts were happy to keep me company if I wanted. Overall, I loved my stay. I'd recommend it for a night out for yourself, with loved one or even family. Close to everything in Westport."

"What an incredible home! The coziness of the fireplaces, the history, the decorating! You can walk all through the home and find amazing knick-knacks and collections of all sorts. Our goal was to do nothing but relax and the mission was accomplished. We loved that the holiday lights were still up. It was made even more magical with a significant snowfall during our stay. "Perfect winter getaway. This is a spacious, thoughtfully designed cottage with huge windows and fantastic lake views set on an expansive, peaceful property. Everything about the stay felt intentional and welcoming. We will absolutely be back.Beautiful, quiet setting with easy access year-round. The sanded stairs down to the lake made winter access safe and simple. We enjoyed lovely walks across the frozen lake and explored nearby trails at Frontenac Provincial Park and Gould Conservation Area, approximately 10 and 25 minutes away, even in snowy conditions.Exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed and more. Highlights included a beautiful pool table, a great fire pit, and a hot tub overlooking the lake. A particularly nice touch was the slippers at the door leading out to the hot tub. The wood-burning stove was fully prepared with matches, newspaper, kindling, logs, and even an axe right there, a small detail that made a big difference.Immaculately clean. The house felt fresh and well cared for throughout. The interior was filled with healthy, thriving plants that honestly looked fake at first, especially impressive for January.The owners clearly care about making each stay special. From the preparation of the firewood to the overall comfort and presentation of the home, everything reflected pride of ownership and genuine hospitality.Absolutely. A standout cottage experience, and especially magical in winter."
