"The cabin was in a nice location with easy access to Shaver Lake. The wood fireplace warmed the house nicely, be sure to bring your own wood and matches. There are three bedrooms the downstairs queen bed is comfortable, the upstairs queen bed was really hard to sleep on and the room with the bunkbeds was not comfortable for teens so we would recommend only for small children. The house was nice and clean and was a nice place to play in the snow. "

"The tiny cabin in Shaver was lovely. Everything was pretty much exactly as advertised, and the location was off the main road and easy to find. Restaurants and convenience stores were just a short distance and passwords and codes were provided. The fireplace worked perfectly and made the space feel cozy. The mattress was a little lumpy and the sheets and blankets probably could have used a good wash, but nothing that took away from the overall experience. "

"There was a buzzing sound coming out of the air vent in the morning. The noise woke me up at 4:00 AM. I mentioned it to the clerk and he said “those vents do that when they need to be cleaned”. We also watched tv and their channels cut off or there was nothing on their channels. We ended up streaming in Netflex using my account. Again, I mentioned this to the clerk and he said that when they are booked their WiFi can’t handle the load and it cuts off. The room cost us $289 for the night and I definitely did not think the room was worth the price. I have stayed at Hampton before and had better experiences."
