"Loved everything about this hotel the staff was courteous and attentive really made us feel welcomed. The hotel itself was beautiful, you can tell it’s been remodeled and they did an amazing job. Comfortable beds, super clean rooms. Their continental breakfast was not bad either. I Would definitely stay here again."

"Breakfast was wonderful. Waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausage, oatmeal, plenty of fresh fruits, yogurt, cereal. Bathrooms were a bit outdated, and they need some rain gutters to stop the constant dripping right outside the room door, but it was a great one-night stay. "

"“Upon This Rock” in Shaver Lake has been the perfect winter home for our group for the past 7 years now. We choose to book here year after year as the house is set up perfectly for multiple families to stay together while still having space between them. The hosts are very responsive and very accomodating in any way they can be. This year we were fortunate enough to be there during a massive winter snow and just sitting in the living room watching the snow fall and pile on the deck was just so peaceful. While most of Shaver Lake was without power on and off this week because of the storm, We only lost power intermittently and the wood stove and ample supply of firewood kept us warm even with no power."
