The Shawnee Bungalow was perfect for my trip with my kids. The house was cozy, clean, and very well kept. The beds were amaaaaazing, very comfy, I got great sleep. The batteries ran low on the thermostat but I messaged Carrie and she was on it right away. Great host and great place to stay.

Wonderful place to stay!

Beautifully decorated, quiet neighborhood, great house, easy entrance and exit, fully equipped kitchen, great TVs, great location. I will definitely stay here again. Carrie was wonderful.

Great place!

I really enjoyed my stay here, the couch and bed were very comfortable. The kitchen is full equipped as well. Its in a great location as well. The owner is very communicative.

Great property

This property is great! Clean, cute, and the kitchen is great for cooking. Carrie, our host, was very communicative the entire time. Check in was easy. The location is in a really nice neighborhood and close to shopping, movie theater and grocery stores. We will definitely stay again!

Convenient location

Updated, cute and clean 2 bedroom 1 bath house with easy access to the main arterials, shopping and restaurants. Hyvee grocery was quite close. The gas grill was perfect.

Anniversary Weekend

Shawnee Bungalow was perfect for our weekend. The place is cute, clean, and in a great location for all the places we wanted to visit. We were here for the Kansas NASCAR Race and it was only about 20 mins away. Great location. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone coming to this area!!! Thank you

My aunt came in town to visit, and we stayed at Carrie’s vrbo. Everything was as described, and Carrie was super responsive and helpful. Nice, quiet neighborhood.

Perfect Bungalow!

I appreciated all the little details that our host provided in the adorable bungalow. She shared some ideas of things to do during our visit, and was immediate in response to adjusting the thermostat. The house was a perfect place of tranquility and comfort for our nice weekend getaway!

Tranquility

The location is tranquil; the beds are comfy; tasteful decor; nice and clean. The host was so kind to have many welcoming treats, ie bottled water, snacks, coffee pods, ice cube trays, and many large luxurious towels. If I return to KC area, I am likely to stay in this home again.

Clean & quiet location

Stay was great, perfect for our family of three. My only run was the street construction which made entry slightly inconvenient. Other than that we had clean towels and sheets with enough kitchen amenities to make breakfast or reheat leftovers. Host was easy to communicate with also.

Excellent Host!

We came into town for a girls trip and our stay was excellent!! The property was well cared for, clean and quiet! . There was a hiccup with the air conditioning but the host was extremely quick to get repairs made and kept communication up through the whole process!! I would easily book a property from this host again!! She was amazing!!

Carrie was a wonderful host. We were needing a place to stay after coming home from the hospital post-surgery. This house was perfect! Carrie provided so many necessities. We weren't sure how long we would need to stay; Carrie was very accommodating. Would stay again!!

Lovely 2 bedroom. Extremely comfortable beds. With supplinh my own stand mixer and pans I was able bake and decorate my daughter's wedding cake.the owner went the extra mile in helping with a particular situation.

Perfect for NASCAR Weekend

The house is very convenient to many places, but for us it was just right for getting to Kansas Speedway. The house is well appointed, the bedrooms are generous, and the bathroom is all you need and the towels are large and comfortable. The house has night lights everywhere, so not much chance of stubbing your toes! Go Chiefs!

Tranquil is a great way to describe this rental

My dad and I stayed at Carrie's place over a long weekend in August. It was a great stay. Carrie was very responsive anytime we needed anything, which we didn't because the home was perfect! The neighborhood is quiet and pretty centrally located for traveling around KC. Most attractions (Union Station, WWI Museum, Old Town Westport, etc.) are within a 20-minute drive. There are great restaurants nearby (Q39 for bbq ... great veggie burger and my dad loved the ribs and brisket). I would highly recommend staying here anytime someone travels to Kansas City. We will definitely be back!
