INSIDE:
Step into a space designed for comfort and serenity. The open plan welcomes you with abundant natural light pouring through large windows and doors. Relax by the romantic gas fireplace, or prepare your favorite home-cooked meals in the fully-equipped kitchen, which includes everything you need for a seamless experience.

Step outside to your private retreat, where you can relax on the large deck, gather around the firepit, and roast marshmallows or grill your favorite meals. Whether you’re enjoying a warm summer evening or a chilly night under the stars, the firepit offers the perfect spot to unwind. Firewood (when available) is $6 per bundle.

Lake Michigan is just a short 10-12 minute walk away, or you can drive to the private access point, only 0.6 miles from the cottage.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS & ACTIVITIES:
Cobmoosa Shores is ideally located near everything Oceana County has to offer. Explore scenic golf courses, swimming, kayaking, horseback riding, and wineries.

For the adventure seekers, Silver Lake Sand Dunes ORV Park is open from April 1st to October 31st, offering off-road fun for all.

We’re just a short 10-12 minute walk from Lake Michigan, and our private association beach offers over 600 yards of peaceful, secluded shoreline. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

If you'd prefer to drive, a parking pass is available for easy access to the beach, so you can park right at the entrance and enjoy the view.

Please note, parking is available for up to 4 vehicles in the driveway. There’s also plenty of space for a toy hauler. We kindly ask that you do not park on the lawn or the street, as we want to maintain a safe and clean environment for all.

Oceana County offers plenty of activities for everyone, from golfing and swimming to kayaking, vineyards, and the ORV Park. Off-season activities may be more limited, so be sure to check availability before booking.

Lake Michigan getaway

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. We enjoyed relaxing and exploring the various small towns in the area. The best part was the beautiful beach just a short walk or drive away. We would definitely rent again in the future.

The house was in a great location, and had everything we needed. However the bedrooms (especially the one to the left of the bathroom) was very smelly. Smelled like mildew, carpets probably need to be heavily cleaned.

Sand, Sun and Fun

This property is great. The proximity to Silver Lake, Lake Michigan and all the area attractions is ideal. The private beach on Lake Michigan is perfect. We will be back! We had our grandchildren along and the home is perfect for kids and adults. So clean and comfortable with everything we needed to make our vacation perfect. We will be back 100%!

This was the perfect spot for my husband and I, we were in the area visiting for a wedding in mid-January. It was very quiet since it was the off season. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We’d love to come back during the summer months when we can enjoy the lake and sunshine!

Quiet girls getaway

This property was so cozy and clean! We were able to disconnect and unwind while watching the local deer in the side yard. We were also able to visit the beach and see the winter wonderland it has become this winter. The host, Eric was quick to share information on the local restaurants and other local businesses that made our stay easy and fulfilling. I would like to recommend this property to anyone.

A Lovely Quiet Getaway

My family and I stayed for a weekend in the off season, and we had a very nice time. Erick is very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the area, able to answer any questions you might have. The cottage is situated in a neighborhood, so it's ideal for those who want to have a quiet stay and aren't planning to get up to too much rowdiness. The neighborhood private beach access is just a short drive or brisk walk down the road, and we got there just in time to see a stunning Lake Michigan sunset. As the listing says, the bathroom is quite small, so it might be close quarters for a big group with lots of kids who all want to take showers etc., but if you're looking for a cozy and relaxing spot close to the lake, it's perfect.

Fun Fall Getaway

My husband and I along with his brother and wife had a fun weekend at Erik’s place. His cabin is very clean and perfect location if you’re visiting the Silver Lake Dunes. We watched the sun set over Lake Michigan several evenings and it’s was absolutely beautiful! The cabin is in a very quiet neighborhood and perfectly located amongst Apple orchards and several vineyards. We loved the area and Erik was so nice and inviting! Great place to stay!

Lake Michigan on ice

My daughter and myself travel to this lake house to see the ice on Lake Michigan. We actually arrived late roughly around 10 PM and for some reason we were not able to get in. I called Eric the property owner and he was so helpful. he got us in right away, and he gave us a rundown of everything how to access the lake, great places to eat he also ran through the cabin with us to make sure everything was perfect. We’ve used Vrbo a lot over the years and this was probably our favorite place that we’ve stayed. It was just two of us that went but this place is great for a family. There’s lots of room lots of beds.

Cozy home

Wonderful place to get away in October. We usually spend our summers in the area but wanted to get away in the fall. Wonderful area and the home and area did not disappoint. Fireplace was great on the chilly mornings and the beach access was great. We were the only crazy out of towners on the beach most evenings. Would definitely recommend Thanks Erick for the hospitality and communication.

Great location for a small family

The house is nice and in a quiet neighborhood in a good location. It is accurately described in the listing. There is plenty of room for several guests, but the bathroom is small, as is the water heater so you have to schedule and space out showers. Otherwise, a nice place to stay with a beautiful beach access.

Cute Cottage and Amazing Location!

This property is in a great location! The private beach is the most wonderful part - a short drive, only a few spots to park but never full, only a few people on the beach the entire time we were there which we like. The sunsets from the beach were also incredible. Close to dining, blueberry and dairy farms, and not far from Silver Lake Dunes. The bedrooms were on the smaller side except the loft bedroom was huge and we especially liked the privacy screen in the loft bedroom. The property was very clean and the wifi service was great. The one bathroom is small so be aware of that for larger groups. Kitchen and dining area is spacious.
