"Alessandra was a great, highly responsive host. The house is perfectly situated in one of the most remote, ruggedly beautiful places on the Northern CA coast. Shelter Cove Road, the only road in and out of Shelter Cove, is a challenging drive (blind curves and switchbacks) so consider getting your groceries before descending into Shelter Cove. There is a small general store, a few good restaurants and a couple of good cafes within walking distance of the house. The house is well appointed and thoughtfully designed. The bed (sleep number) is comfortable and there is another room with a bed and a very clever loft set-up. The views are absolutely incredible from almost every room. I saw a whale breach while standing on the driveway. Lots of wildlife and great sunsets are all viewable from the back deck, and you’re just a few feet from dramatic cliffsides and the roaring ocean. "
