The Blue Pelican

The “Blue Pelican” is 2 story home located on the hillside right above Shelter Cove with just a short 5 minute walk to the beach. You will enjoy spectacular ocean, sunset, and whale watching views from every room.
On the first level, is the main living room that opens to the wrap around deck, kitchen, laundry, bath, and large garage. The house has a large screen smart TV, internet, and a warming and cozy gas fireplace. There is a full sized kitchen, including a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, and gas stove.
A short stairway takes you up to the second level where you will find two main bedrooms, both elegantly furnished with king sized beds and a full sized bathroom with a tub/shower. In the oversized closets, you can also find multiple single beds that can be pulled out and capable of sleeping 4 more guests.

Visitors enjoy the local surf spots, lighthouse, tide poles,  black sands beach, fishing, hiking, a nine hole golf course, and simply relaxing in the peaceful and quiet community of Shelter Cove. There are multiple dining options and a local bar. There is also a small airstrip, capable landing small jets.

If the stay is longer than 1 week, there will be an additional $100 mandatory cleaning visit after 7 days.
Extra fees and charges may occur for excessive internet use.
Pets are allowed however only outside

We really enjoyed our stay, including time lounging on the balcony with an ocean view. The place had everything we needed, including a comfortable and cozy living room, well-equipped kitchen and roomy bedrooms with excellent quality beds (and views). The beds were a big plus. The hosts were super responsive and friendly. We’d stay again!

Coastal getaway

We stayed 4 nights and wish it could have been longer. This is a great home. Extremely comfortable bed and couch. Nicely decorated. Very airy but still cozy. Great view and breezes. Will definitely stay again. We had a couple of questions and requests and the host was very responsive. Great all around experience

Perfect house.

Great communication with host. Beautiful view of Shelter Cove and the ocean, looking west. Quiet neighborhood and the neighbor directly to the south was awesome. Very friendly and welcoming. The house had all the amenities needed for our week stay. This was a nice set up. Thank you.

Would stay again! The location and use of a full garage are great. The kitchen is very functional, and there are two queen size beds upstairs in two rooms that are very accommodating. Great communication with the representatives for the property, Natalie and JOSHUA. The only hiccup was that the deposit on the location was an inordinately large some, and I did not like that VRBO offered to offset this deposit with an 89 protection plan that was nonrefundable. As being guests that treat our temporary accommodations at least as well as we would treat our own, of course we received our deposit, although it took 19 days after this stay.All in all, it was a great opportunity after staying in more than five accommodations in the shelter Cove area, and would definitely consider it to be a great choice in the future.
