"The rooms were clean, public spaces old and dirty. The staff (other then the G.M. ) were very nice. My sons slacks burnt by their illeffective iron and they said they took it apart and investigated it and found nothing wrong but it got hot instantly and on half heat it burnt a big whole as soon as it touched the pants and they refused to pay for them. Irresponsible for a hotel. The damage deposit of 120 is over double the national amount of 50. Rooms are clean but nothing has been updated since building was built."

"Such a great stay at the Huckleberry Cabin! So cozy, clean, and comfortable. Great amenities - really appreciated the cooktop, pots and pans, fridge with freezer, and 4-cup coffee maker complete with regular and decaf coffee. Made it easy to make easy meals - the frozen skillet meals were so easy with this set up. The Queen bed was comfortable and bedroom was nice and private with a door separating the living area. The hot tub was an added bonus and just a quick walk from the cabin (the hot tub is behind the owner’s garage, but completely private and they don’t use it while guests are staying). We had fresh snow, but we were still able to enjoy some of the trails (the gnome trail was our favorite). The resident kitty, Timber, was such a sweetheart and greeted us upon arrival. I had to work remotely one day and the internet worked well. Not much around for food, so highly recommend grocery shopping on your way in. The Spencer Lake Bar and Grill was good and had nice views of the lake. Thank you, Ruth and Scott! "

"The value of the Hilton Garden Inn Tacoma Downtown was phenomenal. The two queen room was spacious, there were multiple places to sit aside from the beds, and the room in general (bathroom as well) did not feel cramped. There were plenty of area attractions nearby within walking distance, and the self parking fee was very reasonable."
