The lake house on Island Lake was perfect for our trip. We wanted easy access to our families we were visiting while also having the opportunity to truly relax and unwind. Being 45 minutes from both Rochester and Port Orchard was perfect for the days we had plans with friends and family. But having the lake right outside was the game-changer. Made the trip "home" truly feel like a vacation. Having the kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets, fishing poles, and other kids activities was a real treat. We didn't have to worry about anything. Our 4 kids ages 9- 20 all had fun and stayed entertained even on the rainy days. Pam was great to work with and responded quickly anytime I messaged her. Including before check in when I was grocery shopping and wanted to know what type of coffee maker the house had. I was pleasantly surprised when she responded that I could do pods or full pots but also that she already had the house fully stocked with coffee. What a great touch. We visit WA once per year to see friends and family and I think we will definitely try and book with Pam again in the future.
