My son and I were traveling late at night after visiting with family. We had never stayed in Sherman before but needed to stop and sleep. The location of Lone Star Inn was perfect for us because we didn't have to travel far the next day. The staff was very friendly and for the price the room was just fine.

The price was great. The staff was great. Check-in was very easy seriously need new furniture just everything inside the room as far as the nightstands the beds. Everything looked terrible like they needed to be thrown away 15 years ago so it needs a little money spent on the property. The location was great. But at the prices, they charge which are very low. They may not have the money to make up and replace all of this stuff.. so for the price it’s great for a lot of people.

Room was filthy stains on walls remote for tv broken didnt have replacement but most of all ITS NOT THE LONE STAR INN ITS A MOTEL 6 so if your getting a room there dont look for lone star inn only reason i stayed one night i was extremely tired and just wanted to dleep

The property around inn needs a good maintenance crew on clean up. It comes with the territory of a lower level in, UT the management and workers are very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are not cleaned as well as could be.

Extremely dirty, bed bugs and bugs in the sink. Holes in the bathroom wall perhaps with mold. The shower was very dirty and the shower curtain black in the bottom

The rooms had a terrible smell. Like wet animals. The tv did not work. The bed linen had holes all through them.

Cheap but you want to get the rooms attached to office building or right behind the main building bc the rooms are much much nicer. Each building has a different owner and the building to the side with front and back rooms , up and down stairs are the worst most have roaches and others have to many companies issues , as well as bad odor

Towels were dirty and black not clean. The bed sheets were old and dirty hand had wholes in them from cigarette burns and stained. There were live roaches. The room looked like it had water damage that was just painted over. The person that was above us was so loud my husband had to go upstairs and ask him to keep it down at 2am. He was playing with his dog. We thought he was maintenance working in the room. Never saw the pet. Room smelled and the door had a gap in it to where you could see across the parking lot.
