With new rules, restrictions and safety measures in effect, travel looks a little different right now. Here's what you need to know before you jet off to Shikanoshima Island:

• To reduce handling during screening, put items such as your keys, wallet, phone and belt into your carry-on instead of the bins.
• Separate any food you're carrying for X-ray screening. Food items often set off the alarm. Placing them in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA employee to touch and inspect your belongings.
