Very quiet location in a comfortable and large cabin that was well-equipped for all our needs. The twice daily visits of a dozen or so wild turkeys was an unexpected bonus!
Great location for snowmobiling right on the trail right next to gas easy access well plowed location plenty of room for trailers and parking. Definitely will be going back.
First impressions were not great, BUT once we got inside it lived up to the property title "Cozy Cabin" It was close to the Pictured Rocks trails and very very quiet! Loved it!
We were well accommodated, stocked with all the supplies you need, and the cabin was as good as advertised. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay close to pictured rocks.
This was the perfect cabin for our family. It was close to Pictured Rocks different locations. Make sure to check the code before leaving town as there is no cell service. The Wi-Fi in the cabin was enough to stay in contact if you wanted. The town is not too far with other amenities. We loved our stay there!
Everything was perfect! This was a nice quit getaway, had no issues. Master bedroom bed was very comfortable, living room chairs and couch’s were very comfortable! Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals each day! Omg the water pressure in the show was amazing! I will be rebooking this cabin next year. Only one wish, wish we could have brought our dog, I week with out her is to long.
It was everything we’d hoped for. A rustic cabin, in the woods, close to pictured Rocks. We had such a wonderful stay! We are a family of 5 and brought my mother in law as well. The kids had a blast exploring outdoors. No other surrounding cabins were occupied so it was as quiet as we’d hoped. The house was a uper cozy with everything we needed. The house was stocked with anything you’d need to prepare food, even seasonings and condiments. Coffee supplied and having a percolator for our morning coffees was an absolute plus! All kitchen appliances are there. Dishwasher was a massive plus and having a washer and dryer helped this mom immensely! We tried to use the furnace but it’s really loud so we shut it off right away. But the oscillating heater was fabulous in the living area and also the fireplace up front. Kept the house super cozy the whole time. Beds are comfortable and we all slept great. We ate breakfast and dinner a couple times at the Bear Trap and it was delicious! Close and convenient. The general store was good too for basics.
Ariana was a great host and answered so quickly when I had a question. Appreciate everything and we can’t wait to stay here again!
This was a stay for my husband, adult daughter and son-in-law visiting the area on Labor Day Weekend for local waterfalls and hiking. The house is located just one minute from the road that leads to the Mosquito Falls/Chapel Falls Loop, which was one of the hikes we planned to do. We stayed for three nights.
This house was just what we needed for our stay. Pros include location, newer appliances, fairly well-stocked kitchen, clean bedding and towels, large living room with comfy furniture, Smart TV that had every channel we wanted and the house was priced well for a holiday weekend.
Cons include a loose bathroom barn door that closes only somewhat with a hook, sloping floors and some cleaning neglect under furniture. There was also no direction for closing up the house, which is unusual for a VRBO property. I just did what is usually requested and stripped the beds, did a quick wipe-down of the kitchen, did the dishes and left the garbage bagged up in the kitchen (there were no outdoor bins). A checklist on the fridge or in an email would have been helpful. To be fair, I could have emailed the property manager, but we were so busy I just didn't get to it.
For a weekend stay where we just needed a place to sleep, a full kitchen for meals and lounge area for the evenings it worked well. I would stay here again if looking in the area.
Property was exactly as the listing portrays. Kitchen was well stocked with most things we needed, bathroom had good amount if towels for 6 people, and bedrooms were just as shown in pictures. The location was good not too far from pictured rocks.Very good price for the amenities.
A friend and i recently visited the area and while searching for accommodations we came across the property. Cozy cabin in the woods with everything provided for a comfortable stay. Very clean no smells and close proximity to area towns. If you're looking for clean comfort peace and quiet this place is highly recommended.
Clean little cabin! Nothing fancy. Just an old hunting cabin but it served its purpose. Close to everything and the host responded quickly with questions. We had a great trip.
