Quiet and cozy cabin

Snow was falling during our time here. We relaxed in the hot tub and listened to the sounds of nature, not much other noise around to hear. Very relaxing place!

An adorable log cabin with incredible lake views. Hot tub was perfect. Had amazing time in Shipshewana with girlfriends, going to the flea market , riding in a buggy and eating an authentic Amish meal in an Amish home.

We had a great short stay over thanksgiving holiday in the bucolic hills of Shipshewana. House was very comfortable and the hot tub was terrific. Will stay here again, owners were responsive when we had questions.

Hidden Oasis

Only a couple hours away from Chicago, this home allows you to unplug and unwind. The home has everything you need, tucked inbetween farmland and the woods. We explored Shipshewana during the day, went fishing at dusk, sat by the fire when the sun went down and finished the day with a relaxing dip in the huge hot tub. It was great!

The only thing that didn't work was the electric fireplace downstairs, everything else was great. They even let me check in early which was nice. I would def stay again. Thanks.

Dock was down a fairly steep hill, a little more than 100 yards

But other that that we had a great time fishing, exploring the Amish community, and all there wonderful shops. Attended a concert at the Blue Gate center, it was wonderful. Ate to much, and enjoyed relaxing, and spending some time in the jacuzzi

Awesome, quiet and peaceful

The cabin was so clean and cozy. There were so many personal touches to it. We had storms the first two nights. The electricity went out, but wasn't out more than 2 hours. The hot tub is so clean and was a wonderful addition.

Peaceful, Beautiful Retreat

We very much enjoyed our stay at this cabin in a beautiful setting! The location is just minutes from downtown Shipshewana, which was very convenient. It was too chilly to sit outside on the deck (I’m sure that’s great!) but my favorite thing was to wake up, drink my coffee and look out at the beautiful scenery from the family room. The host was terrific with communication and making sure we had everything we needed. The treats they left were delicious and a nice touch! We would love to come back!
