Recently renovated country cottage, 2.5 miles from Shipshewana

Relax and enjoy this recently renovated cozy cottage just 2.5 miles from the heart of Shipshewana. Close enough to enjoy all this small town has to offer and just a short drive back from a busy day at the shops where you can enjoy an evening relaxing under the large shade trees by the wishing well in the secluded back yard. From the front porch is a nice view of a neighboring farm and you can enjoy seeing the many amish buggies as they stroll by. If you have a sweet tooth, another perk is the cute little frozen custard /ice cream stand within walking distance of this cozy getaway.
Inside you will find wireless internet, dish tv with all your favorites, DVD/Blue Ray player, a gas log fireplace with comfy seating space to unwind after a long day as well as a cozy nook for reading or having that morning cup of coffee. A Keurig coffee machine highlights this bright full size kitchen stocked with all the dishes, pots and pans needed to prepare your favorite gourmet meal if you choose. Microwave, electric skillet, toaster, electric griddle and hand mixer as well as oil, salt & pepper and a complete spice rack are all provided. A sound machine is provided for each bedroom for those light sleepers who might need a little something extra to help them doze off at night.

Retirement Reward
The three of us have all finally retired! We decided to escape to Shipshewana. The cottage was everything we could have wanted and more! Close to town and easy to get to nearby towns as well. Cottage was fully equipped in supplies. Carla was quick to respond to all my questions- we had some car problems and she gave suggestions to a friendly neighborhood auto service company. Would love to stay again!

Millie’s Cottage
Super clean and organized. Everything that was listed was there. We didn’t need anything that wasn’t there. The only suggestion I could make would be a fire pit in the back. Friday night out on the back patio was great with the stars out.

Awesome trip
The house was so cute and the perfect size for us. We enjoyed watching the Amish with their buggy from the front porch. We went to the flea market and only covered about 1/3 of it. We will need to make another trip later this summer to cover the rest. Weather was perfect.

Restful , clean cottage
We wanted to stay longer! Such a beautiful place, and just the right size for our party of 3. This time we needed to get back to Michigan for a family event, but we would have loved a longer stay. The online photos were accurate, and the front and back porches offered chairs to sit in and enjoy the lovely countryside.
