"My spouse and I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Izukyu! I'm already planning to come back later in the summer. My Japanese is limited so we really appreciated the staff doing their best to explain policies in English. We stayed in a Japanese style room, it was huge and had everything we needed and more - and the view of the ocean was fantastic! We also took advantage of the private onsen, highly recommend. "The hotel was a lovely place to stay for our short trip to the Izu Penninsula, it was a good base for us to explore the area although there are very limited restaurants or places of interest in the immediate vicinity apart from the beach. The service was excellent in the hotel, especially the check in and the rooms were clean and well maintained. We didn’t use the private baths but they looked great.
