"The hotel is in need of an update, rooms are very dated (very nostalgic), in our room, we have a phone with a dialing wheel, which can only be found in very few places or museum. The hotel is located very close to the main Onsen street. Also a free shuttle to and from Bus station. The staff are up keeping the very standard Japanese serving standard, very courteous , friendly and helpful. The onsen is good but not spectacular. The food is also in the “good but not spectacular” category. The happy hour between 4-6pm is a plus to allow guest to unwind after a day of travel to the Onsen."

"Breakfast is really good, they are many choices, all taste great! In-room hot-spring bath is very relaxing with good views. It would be even better if the front desk staff could understand more English."
