"We enjoyed a 2-night stay at the Whitsha Inn. It's conveniently located for the sights we visited while in Twillingate.......hiking trails, lighthouse, Dinner Theatre and more. We arrived early on day 1, and Deborah, the owner, was gracious enough to get our room ready by 1pm, about 2 hours before normal check-in. We appreciated that since we had some items that required refrigeration. Breakfast was a continental breakfast.........OJ, coffee, cereal, muffins, bagels, fruit, and yogurt. It was enjoyable to meet the other guests and have a chat with them about their stops in Newfoundland. We were able to pick up a few tips for the remaining portion of our 17-day trip. It was nice to be able to enjoy the wine we purchased at the winery right up the street, on the front porch and deck in the backyard."

"We had a wonderful time at the Saltbox house. The location was perfect to fully explore Fogo island. We loved the home itself, lovingly restored, furnished and maintained, with a great view of the bay/arm. I highly recommend this property."

"The cottage was very well equipped. Two views were fantastic - front and rear coves with decks on which to enjoy them. The activities in the area included hiking, lookouts, and birding / wildlife viewing. Wonderful stay."

"Overall the place was very nice and I would not hesitate to stay there again. However I am 6'4" tall and had to bend over to walk upstairs the ceilings are very low I would venture to guess they are only 6'-0" ceilings. All the bedrooms and the master bath are like this. I ended up using the Downstairs bath which was very nice. Again not a deal killer just be aware of this if you are over 6' tall. We used the grill it was in very nice shape and clean. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, pans and plates glasses etc... Only other issue was the microwave didn't work. We were late in checking out thought Checkout time was 11, which we found in other VRBO's on the Island, Yes we should have read the book. Host sent email about 10:05 informing us about the check out time we were packed and out by 10:25 They were very gracious and I apologize for the misunderstanding, totally our fault. Again wonder location and home. "
