"We routinely stay in Pacific Grove but deviated north to Petaluma to visit a sister. Found dog friendly reasonably priced Metro within walking distance from Petaluma's colorful downtown. Got a queen room which, despite being rather small with a few very tiny tables and a very large TV, worked out perfectly for us. There wasn't a fridge or microwave, however ice and a hot water dispenser were in the lobby at the bohemian coffee counter. (bring an ice chest) The young smiling host was genuinely pleasant and helpful, the premises quiet, and secure parking just 50 feet away. We will return and perhaps, depending on the price, check into an Airstream."

"I enjoyed staying at Frank’s place. I had everything I needed. It was clean and comfortable, and very convenient for getting to my weekend workshop in Petaluma. It was also easy to explore restaurants with vegan options nearby."

"The rooms were very clean and nicely organized. The kitchen had many condiments that would be needed to prepare food and the refrigerator was full size. We appreciated the washer and dryer and enjoyed spending time in the mornings and evenings on the balcony outside the door. The Peets coffee pods were greatly appreciated for relaxing mornings. The lighting in the bathroom is challenging for putting on makeup and shaving we noted. While the listing notes it is within walking distance from downtown, we found that it would have been quite a long hike to do so, measuring it at over a mile, so we drove to downtown Petaluma. Parking was a little tight as it is street parking and most spaces were taken."
