"I stayed in room 167 which is in the back of the property so it’s nice and quiet. The room was adorable comfortable bed had a few little amenities and Nespresso machine and a mini bar.. if you out the back window is of a redwood tree so it’s very relaxing and quiet. They do have breakfast available from 8 to 10 for an additional charge. I did not participate however because I’m vegan. They had wonderful coffee from Joshua Tree coffee company. It looks like the restaurant is getting ready to open that’s on the property, which would be a wonderful addition. I highly recommend this charming, comfortable, and close to town location."

"Upon arrival there was trash and throw up on the ground walking into the hotel. Staff was polite during check in. The view from our room was a shipping container and dirty parking lot. It’s an old dirty hotel. Don’t let them trick you into some river view. It’s foul."

"Beautiful!!! After flying several hours from Pensacola into San Fransisco, renting a car at the airport, 2.5 hours of horrible stop and go traffic driving to the USCG TRACEN Petaluma unable to take in all of the beautiful wildflowers, flowering shrubs and massive succulents along the way because the traffic sucked that bad, checking into Hotel Petaluma was an absolute breath of fresh air!!! The reception ladies were so sweet and helpful. The attached restaurant The Shuckery was perfect! My Coastie kid was graduating Culinary A-School the next morning. It was nice to see and hear about and experience the importance of Farm-to-Table in the local area. Quick easy drive from the hotel to base. Super cute older historic building in an historic area. Very pretty! No hotel parking but I parked right across the street with no issues at all, very safe area. Very quiet and comfortable nights rest. Elevator stops at thr 4th floor, walking the 10 steps up a cute stairwell to the 5th floor does not bother me whatsoever. But if stairs could be an issue, just make sure to let them know in advance. Easy breezy and beautiful!"

"Modern hotel in an old silk mill. Very cool. Clean. Make sure to get a room away from the busy street and train in front. They only provide housekeeping every other day which was not mentioned on the website. Decent breakfast"

"We loved our stay, really peaceful town and it was stocked with everything we needed. Frank left us a welcoming gift with wine and some chocolates, which I thought was a sweet touch. Place was clean too. We would stay here again"

"We loved it. This garage apartment is beautiful, well appointed and well supplied. It’s located in a wonderful neighborhood, and Petaluma itself has a lot to offer. From here, it’s an easy drive to the wine country around Sonoma and Napa and to Muir Woods. Communication with our host was great. We had a great visit in every way."
