"Website is not how property shows in real life. Exterior of property needs updating as well as property grounds. Rooms interior are updated but common areas are still dated. Air conditioning units need to be replaced. Food is average and highly priced. Lake is not clear and was told by locals they do not swim in it. Staff was friendly and accommodating but accommodations and property were very average grade."

"5/5 Stars Total hidden gem in the Poconos! Lakelyn Lodge is beautifully renovated, immaculate, and offers stunning lakefront views. The contactless check-in was incredibly convenient, and the room felt elevated with high-end linens, luxury bath amenities, and excellent local coffee. We spent our mornings looking out at the quiet lake and our days exploring nearby Hawley and State Parks. It’s the perfect, peaceful basecamp for a weekend trip. Highly recommend!"

"I have been around the Lake Wally/Hawley + area for 40yrs (first owning a small summer place on the lake & as a local camp nurse for 20yrs), I always wanted to stay at Settlers--dined there many times--visited the gift shop, even looked into the rooms--finally got the chance--Wonder/Beautiful/Tranquil/Unique!!!"

"It's a place to flop in a quiet, economically struggling but beautiful area. Adjacent to the hospital, walkable to local shops, restaurant / bar on premises, easy access to Delaware River. Basic amenities - everything reminds of great-grandma's home including the tepid shower, the wash basin in your bedroom, and the low bed with a springy mattress. Don't be picky - support the local economy."
