"The hotel was located about 15 miles from the airport and approx. same from the city. Bus routes are very close by that makes transportation very easy. Rooms are of nice size and are cleaned everyday. Diane at the counter gave us lots of tips on how to travel to the city, which beach to go to and which buses-trains to use. That was very helpful. The breakfast was nice with plenty of choice although it is not included in the price. Pay the night before and save Eu 2.00 on the price of breakfast. Overall our experience was nice."
"Disregard any negative review. We had a wonderful stay. This is a brand new property, modern building, friendly staff, room spotless clean, comfy, spacious, well furnished.
About public transportation if you take the metro it's quite a walk, but if you take the bus it's arround the corner, so plan your route to end and start with the bus and you won't have any issues.

"Very nice staff. I do not speak any Spanish besides Hola and they still understand me. They are very respectful. The restaurant is good and the staff is great. They will charge everything to your room and you can buy snacks etc. They have a nice area where you can sit outside and smoke and relax. They also have a rooftop area with tables where you can also smoke and eat if you like. The sunset from the rooftop is beautiful. It is called a solarium which you take the elevator that says solarium to go to. It is a short walk to get to the mall and restaurants. There is a busstop there, but. They do offer Dove bodywash, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap. You use your keycard and put in a space on the inside by the door to keep the electricity in the room working. This is a genius idea to save wasted electricity. If you want to be directly in Barcelona this is not the best place to stay if you don't have a car. If you get a taxi from the airport (which is super simple to get, you go to the taxi area and stand in line. Then make sure they are aware which Holiday Inn and that they undstand the address."
