"Best stay I’ve had in Italy! The staff was super helpful and attentive. The rooms were spotless. The whole resort was spotless. The workers were constantly keeping veering up to date. The pool had a beautiful view of the valley of temple. There was a swim up bar at the pool. Loved the hotel and staff!"

Hotel Eremo della Giubiliana

"We just wrapped up our wonderful 11-night stay at Eremo della Giubiliana near Ragusa, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We stayed in one of the cottages, which don’t receive nearly enough attention or photos in most reviews. They were spacious, beautifully appointed, and provided the ideal private retreat for our family with a toddler. Breakfast is highly underrated—guests constantly rave about it. We enjoyed dinner at the on-site restaurant 3–4 times. The food was very good, and takeaway options made it easy for relaxed evenings on our cottage patio. The complimentary bikes were a highlight. Riding around the historic airstrip was magical. Few reviews mention it was used during Operation Husky in WWII. Sicily’s rich history means many sites like this have only a small sign. If this were in Canada, it would be a landmark. Staying here truly felt like a blessing—peaceful, authentic, and full of soul. The hotel staff were elite. Special mentions to waiter Mirko (I believe that’s his name) and our outstanding male housekeeper. Although not positioned as a traditional long-stay hotel, Ragusa was an excellent central base for exploring eastern Sicily. We never drove more than a couple of hours to places like Taormina. We couldn’t recommend Eremo della Giubiliana enough. A character-filled, serene retreat with top-tier service and genuine sense of place."

Mangia's Torre del Barone Resort and SPA

"Lovely hotel, perfect for relaxing holiday. Shame the location is a bit isolated, you need a car if you want to explore. Just being really picky, the adult beach could do with easier access to the sea. The gym is very basic and some of the classes/sport facilities offered by hotel were in fact not available for all guests, but only available to those booking through Neilson’s Holiday (and unfortunately some of their staff were rather rude)"

Mangia's Costa Ragusa Borgo - New Opening

"We loved the Costa Ragusa Borgo it was brand new, the room was spacious and contemporary. The service was fantastic for the buffet and the restaurants, everyone was always so eager to help. If you have kids - use the kids club, the staff is super professional! The beach was hands down amazing! So clean and clear, you can wade in forever with barely a wave. My only recommendation would be to change the towels more often ( house keeping needs some work) and the night entertainment needs some help they had an extremely soulful singer most nights that was not suited for the resort- they did have a group from Palermo one night that was awesome. In my opinion keep the dj on longer instead of the soulful singer. All in all you can go wrong with this beautiful resort."

"Everything was really good, location, specious room, good breakfast, swimming pool. Be aware about sun loungers charge of 15 euro on the beach if the booking is made not directly with hotel. Also gate to the beach is closed at 7p.m so you need to go through little pine woodlands. Be also aware that hotel did not respond to my messages sent through this portal so communication was broken. The reception stuff had a bit of attitude but overall they are helpful. There is a lovely outdoor bar and restaurant on beach near hotel but not linked to hotel. Food there was exceptional. I recommend this place as overall it’s a good place, nicely design and I felt safe as a single traveler."

"We were beyond happy to have stayed at such a lovely property with an equally special staff!!! They were fabulous from start to finish…Organized drivers…Took care of everything…Provided a spectacular breakfast with more items than I can mention…And the AC - quite perfect in what was a heat wave!!! We TOTALLY encourage a visit but book for more than one night as it’s perfect!!!"
