This is very interesting as we do not show you as having stayed with us, perhaps under a different name? I intend to verify this with Expedia. To address the issue of the bugs you mentioned, all I can say is we have owned this property for 22 years and have never, ever had any roaches. We do have a country inn with outside entrances and we have seasons of outdoor bugs that can sometimes get in the rooms, depending on how the doors are operated. Box Elder Beetles have recently passed through the area, perhaps this is what you saw? We thoroughly clean our own rooms so surely we would have noticed if the room was as you stated. We thought once there were roaches in a room when we were new owners, we called an exterminator, and had them come to spray. Lo and behold, he said there were no roaches only a couple of water beetles and that our rooms were way too clean to have a roach issue. So. . . back to my original comment, perhaps this was another property that you are confusing us with? Otherwise, I truly do not know what to say. I will follow through as this kind of false review can be very damaging to our integrity.

You did not actually stay with us so it is amazing this review is even allowed. Sorry you did not read what our hours are, we would have loved to have you stay with us but you arrived after our office hours. Just as a note to remember, we do accommodate self-check-ins for after-hour arrivals

Hi There, Thank you for your review. After checking into the issues you mentioned, it was found that the bugs were Millers. You happened to arrive during our 2-week blitz with them. We check each room after we clean it, as we do all our own cleaning. These little pests are quick so we make sure the room is clear but once the room is rented, the lights are turned on and a door is opened, they get right in. I do apologize for the trouble but that is the only issue we found. The shower faucet is touchy but as of yet, we have no solution to that matter. We wish you safe travels!
