Beautiful 100 year old property which used to be a Red Cross hospital. Fully restored and modern while maintaining the old world charm. Location was close to Pub Street and Palace.

Everything about our stay here was fantastic. The staff, the room, the food, the service, the pool. We stayed here in 2018 on our first trip to Siem Reap and loved it so much we stayed again. The rooms are beautiful and quiet. The pool is lovely, peaceful and a refuge after sweating all day. But the very best thing about being here is the lovely people who work here. Truly kind and loving. Thank you for another beautiful experience.

Simply exquisite. Amazingly accomodating staff. Resort is beautiful and impeccably clean. One of the best mojitos that I have had, and I have had a lot. The resort included so many extras. A cocktal per day, some laundry, beverages in the room. I had the soup for breakfast, delicious! Our room was large and comfortable with a shower, large soaking tub, and toilet room. So many great staff. I wish I had gotten more names. The bar, room service staff and breakfast staff, lovely and efficient. I believe it was Lien at reception who really went the extra mile. Thank you La Riviere!

What a sweet oasis in the heart of Siem Reap. We were greeted with the most delicious passion fruit juice, and treated like royalty. The room was beautiful, the staff were so helpful, and our stay was wonderful.

The small and inviting atmosphere of this boutique style hotel made our stay so enjoyable. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating to our every whim. The location is set along the river, making for pleasant walks (and morning runs). We were able to walk to many restaurants and experience Pub Street but return to our tranquil retreat. In addition, we met lovely guests from various corners of the world.

Only if the room condition was better....
Service was good, Staff are well trained and very friendly. Room layout was rich and nice. Downside was air conditioning and shower. The air conditioning was not working at all. We need to spend our time in the hot room. The bed was hot too due to the room being hot. Almost no cold water come out from the shower, and the hot water was too hot to use without cold water coming out. Maybe, these happened only in our room.... We were too tired to make a claim on the issues.

We love everything about this property. This is our 4th stay here for 10 days each time. The staff are all great and nothing is too much trouble for them to make our stay very enjoyable. Perfect location - just a short walk to pub street and many restaurants and bars, Very nice having breakfast served on our patio each day. Free 6 pieces of laundry each day was a welcome surprise. Complimentary cocktail each day as well. Can't fault the property. Highly recommended!

The hotel is small with several small buildings around a lovely garden. The staff is great and the included breakfast was nice. Our room did not really have internet, weak and occasional, and we could have used a fan to assist the AC.

We enjoyed the service, by the lovely pool, on the terrace of our bungalow and in the rooftop bar - with tasty good-value food and cocktails (some more carefully mixed than others.) There were some problems with the room - leaking A/C and dodgy wiring of a lamp that shorted all the electrics - which staff worked hard to fix.

Amazing stay. 10/10
Staff are very friendly, they always greet us with smiles and very accommodating. I booked room with garden view but they gave us the room with pool view which is the first room and a lot of people passing by while when you trying to sit and relax by the patio but we still enjoyed our stay. 2 complimentary cocktails every day and free breakfast which is good. With complimentary pair of laundry for each person a day. Complimentary shuttle service to the airport. The location was very accessible to shops and Pub Street. Sky bar with river view. The room is really big and nice. They let us leave our luggage even we checked out already and we still have time to go around without bringing our heavy bags before our late flight for the day. Overall, it was an amazing stay.

I chose it at random from the Expedia list and I chose well. I hope to return to Siem Reap one day and I would definitely stay at this hotel. Quiet in spite of proximity to the road. Next to the river and an easy walk to the night market. Staff go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant visit.

Great little resort, great location! Walking distance to lots of things including the street food along the road along the river, the market, and a cool little area of coffee shops, shopping, and a massage place. Pool was very relaxing!

A fantastic hotel - well deserving of it's 5 star rating. Excellently location for restaurants but a little out of town so nice and quiet. A gorgeous pool area for relaxing after a hot day sightseeing and a free cocktail in the rooftop bar too. 3 items each free laundry too which was so useful in a hot humid climate. Staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful and looked after us so well. Loved our little bungalow in the grounds and room was HUGE! HIghly recommended.

Terrible place to stay
I have stayed in lots of accommodation booked through expedia and this is the first time I have ever rated anything less than excellent. There is stagnant water all over the hotel so the mosquitoes are everywhere. Because of this you are unable to sit outside in the evening. The breakfast is just odd! The office staff try to sell you daytrips when you are asking for advice about the hotel. The hot water ran out, not enough even to fill half the bath. The facilities by the pool are broken down and FULL of mosquitoes. Though we had paid for the whole six nights already, we checked out after the first night. It cost us $700 but this was definitely the best decision. The new accommodation was outstanding and actually cost less than this hotel! Do not book this accommodation!

This place was better than anything we expected. There are 14 or so Bungalows tucked between palm trees and beautiful flowering plants. They were spotless, the pool was beautiful. A nice touch-each desk can get a complimentary drink. We got ours brought to our room one night and enjoyed it on our front lanai. And another night we had them brought to the dining room for dinner. Complimentary airport transfers, and the concierge arranged a tour for us to Angkor Wat one day. This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at.

Wow! What a find!! Within walking distance of Pub Street and the night market, this hotel oozes Cambodian charm. The rooms were spacious and romantic all at once. The breakfast was awesome too.

Staff were very helpful and non intrusive. Accomodation was spacious, quiet and clean. Swimming pool was great. Location within walking distance of all amenities, shopping, markets etc.. We stayed a week and had a great relaxing time here. In a foreign country we did not expect fluent English speakers however the staff at the hotel were very conversant which was a bonus. I have done a lot of travelling and this place is at the top of my list to go back to again.

Mango Riverside is a slice of tranquility
Mango Riverside is a slice of tranqulity. Staff are so invested in creating a positive experience for guests. Beautiful and simple setting with plenty of opportunity for reflection makes this a spot of deep relaxation. I left with renewed peace, a belly full of good food and warm memory of experiences including riding a bicycle through the rice paddy fields and taking my 80 year old mother on a tour through back canals of the mekong. Simply a must do for anyone who wants to touch beauty.

OK but expensive for what you get
Hotel was overall nice and clean and the staff was very attentive and helpful. However, for the total cost in comparison to local rates around Siem Reap it seemed excessive and didn't get much bang for your buck. Plus being told laundry services are complementary to later find out only the first 3 items are included (above that we were charged after the fact) seemed excessive for the total cost of the room.

Oasis Of Calm in a busy city
The hotel is about 1 km away from the night market and pub streets so it is pretty quite by comparison. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a small boutique hotel so not many facilities (It does have a nice pool and good restaurant and a bar in the reception area) but the rooms are very spacious. I would definately recommed the hotel.
