"The villas were gorgeous, the property beautifully landscaped, and the view outstanding. The on-site restaurant was excellent and the staff wonderful. The owner, who lives on the property. Went above and beyond to help us. I just can’t say enough good things about this place."

"We were greeted warmly by the day manager as our boat arrived. She told us we were being given an upgrade with a lovely ocean view. They went out of their way to help us including a very early breakfast before leaving for an overnight stay at La Sirena. Really appreciated the extra help."

"We had a wonderful stay at El Faro. The location was perfect for our family. The beach and Manuel Antonio National Park are very close. The view from our balcony was amazing. We knew about climbing the hill beforehand and really didn’t think it was that bad (our ages were 58, 49, 48, 46, 15, 14, 12, and 11). The hotel staff helped bring up and down our luggage, so that wasn’t an issue, and a golf cart ride was easily available, whenever needed. We also really enjoyed our breakfasts each morning, and the hotel staff were very accommodating with booking tours and answering any questions we had during our stay. Beware of the capuchin monkeys. There is a reason they are called La Mafia. They are cool to watch… from a distance. I’d definitely stay here again. "
