"Hotel was fine, clean and had a good service. However when I booked it, the site map located it in Huichihuayan, about 6 miles north from where it was really located. I recently checked the map again and is been corrected. Overall it is a good hotel.

"It is a nice hotel, safe, convenient... there is a restaurant, a pool and parking. Rooms are fine, beds are comfy the only thing was the toilet, and there was no tv. No elevators, just stairs to the rooms. I will stay here again anyway becayse of how comfy I was."

"The hotel is just gorgeous! The grounds beautiful and the panoramic views breathtaking. Staff sis helpful and nice. The restaurant in the hotel has really good food. You can easily walk down to town for more dining options and shopping."
"¡Posada James en Xilitla es una verdadera joya! Las vistas son absolutamente impresionantes y la hospitalidad de los anfitriones y chicas del staff es inigualable: cálida, cortés y atenta. La comida de cinco estrellas, las habitaciones limpias con camas cómodas y aire acondicionado, la refrescante piscina y el estacionamiento seguro hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera inolvidable. ¡Recomiendo ampliamente este hotel boutique para una escapada perfecta!"
"We visited from the States, and we really enjoyed our stay! I loved that it was higher on the hill above the other hotels and had the perfect view of the Peña de Bernal. The staff was very helpful, and someone was always at the gate to make sure we could enter, whether we were driving in or walking in. Downtown was maybe a five-minute walk down the hill, which was perfect (but you need to be okay with walking up and down a hill on somewhat uneven roads). The wineries were only about 20 minutes away, which was where we visited for an entire afternoon. The breakfast was convenient and delicious as well- there was cereal, chilaquiles, eggs, yogurt, and fruit every morning. We would stay here again!"
"To shower you had to choose very hot water or cold, the knobs were hard to control. The hotel is closed at 10:00 pm and cannot go out or in until the next day, no front desk service. "
"Payment needed in cash only. They claimed that the internet was weak. True, internet worked 20 percent of the time and signal was weak. Outstanding king size mattress, sheets and pillows. Good AC. Good location."
